The Strongbox will become a rare drop after February 24, 2014.
Added to the drop system in the January 10, 2014 Patch. The Mann Co. Strongbox Key that opens this crate was released in the February 7, 2014 Patch. After the February 24th, 2014 Strongboxes will set to drop much less frequently than standard crates.
