Sold for harvest swagman
Sale price: ~15
These are all the sales I can find. There are no current offers on any of the trades that is useful.
What a hideous effect. Not sure how it could be 12-15 buds, but proof is proof
I might even dare say that 15 buds is an Outlier
Yeah I agree, but since high tier effects are really expensive, it brings up the value of all the others. Same thing happens with the TC.
At least it's colorful, and I like the cascading part. The pixels part is the bad part.
Again, as I said on your Miami Modest suggestion, your values are off.
Tossle is 10.6 after overpay.
Honcho is 10.8.
Hustler's is 15.2 (close enough, heh)
Swagman's is 12.4 after overpay and even then the seller's B/O was 14 ->15 wouldn't have been valid. And EVEN then 2+ month old sales are not valid.
Sorry mate, but again, downvote.
The essence of overpay
1. Overpay in its purest form
No sale should be valued higher than a hat’s buyout in pure. If a person in the comments of a trade states a willingness to sell for "x" pure, the trade should not be valued above "x."
2. Standardized overpay
All OFFERED hats and items should be taken at 90% of their original average price. For a guide on how to determine the original average price, please look here - http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/4350-new-rule-use-original-suggested-values-of-unusuals/
If unclear which hat was offered, DO calculate overpay.
HOUWARs, Max heads, buds, keys, refined, and cash trades are exempt from overpay calculations.
3. The issue of reverse overpay
If the suggestion is for an offered hat (where the person offering on another hat is technically expected to overpay), do not calculated overpay or reverse overpay. Take both hats at 100% of their original average value.

I have 200+ accepted unusual suggestions, I know what overpay is. I have always taken like 90% of the mid value, but that usually just ends up being really close to the low end anyway. So in most cases I just take the lowend as the "pure value including overpay."
If prices here are set based on pure values, as is the goal of the site, calculating the pure value as being worth less than the low end is moronic.
Tossel is 12.2-14, 90% of mid is 11.8. I choose 12 because pricing this expensive a hat to the tenth is stupid.
Honcho is 12.2-13.3 90% of mid is 11.5, lower than the low. I took 12.
Mods have recently started enforcing usage of mid*0.9.
And also you haven't used any original values, in the bold link.
I just sold a duped burning honcho for 11 so I know a clean one would fetch at least 12. I have been working on a tossle suggestion and it appears that 12 is still reasonable on those too. I use my experience along with the website prices when setting pure values. Since 70% of the prices are jacked up for one reason or another this method is the best approach imo. Blindly taking the original suggestion prices when you have no idea what the bud-key conversion at that point was is foolish. I don't care what the "guidelines" say. Buds have gone from like 22 to 15 to 20 in that last few months. That can really screw you up if you use the OG suggestion without correcting it.
Here's a perfect example: Vivid Modest
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51b269be4bd7b8e80c000009 Price = 156 keys
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/5286efed4cd7b821758b456b Somehow "corrects" the price to the "original" price which ended up being 114 keys based on the bud/key conversion issue.
http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52eec5534dd7b8ba618b4568 Sold mine for 8.5 and corrected the price back to ~160 where it should have been all along.
Stop whining about my methods please. I used to be top 5 here but boycotted doing PCs for about a year due to the F'd up pricing system. Now that the system has finally been fixed I decided to help out again. There are plenty of other ppl for you to police, I am not one of them. You can ask Bucket, Wolfi, Peasant, Merry, Awesome, Vince etc.
Thanks, I look forward to working together in the future :D

A B/O of 11 to watch out for.
Eh, they clearly state that it's a quicksale. based on what i saw, it technically should be considered a quicksale and not used to set a price. If more than one had a 11 bud b/o then it will be worth noting.
Quicksell is a verb, not a noun.
ffs, really?
1. it's an internet chat board.
2. in the tf2 world quicksell is used both a noun and verb. "Buying quicksells" means the same as "Buying quicksell unusuals"
3. it's technically not even a word so correcting the use is pretty funny.
1. I don't see how that corresponds with quicksell
2. I could be "quickselling" a hat for 2 ref worth 1.33 but I haven't sold it for weeks. You even countered your "noun" in your 3rd statement.
3. It's not a word, it's a verb. an action.
So you can't really assume it's a quicksell until time passes by.
tbh i have 0% faith that guy is getting a houwar
Moon tossle has a 9 month old price - clean ones have sold for under 11 - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52e0108e4dd7b8c33e8b4568 - either way, that just can't really be used as proof
Honcho's has a 7 month old price.
DP hustler is a 5 month old price which is just way too old for a new effect hat to use as proof.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13757299 - and this sale is 5 months old
Just not enough here.
