Some of the outpost trades are REALLY old. So if you look, make sure to remember that some of those prices are from 8 months ago. However, some of these solds are a few months old because the last price update was 5 months ago.

Note: On each of these trades there are a whole bunch of comments that simply say “added” and don’t specify which paint. So there’s likely more going on.

Yes, but I'm trying to prove that although it's selling for 1.33, you can still buy it for 1 ref, so 1 ref shouldn't leave the range.

Only proof you have of 1.33 are restockers that have only sold a few in several months?

The paint sells fine for 1.33, it's just that the demand isn't high at all and so many users only check for items on this site only, yet we follow the trend of another as a guideline. Same could be said for every current 1-ref paint on the market

Old proof is not valid

Even if it's from between the last price set and now? They aren't that old either. Most are 3 months maybe. I think that's within range IIRC.

3 months is pretty old, though if the trade is refreshed up to date and the trader active, it shouldnt be considered 3 months old.

Also, you can't trust paint shops saying they sold 6. Often people lie to make that number larger so it seems as if their price sells often. (I especially wouldn't trust http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14464787 , I heard he's not liked around here xD)

Paint shops also tend to change their prices often.

Actually for the paint shops I counted comments and found at least 6 adds for most of them. Plus a whole bunch of other adds that didn't specify paint. I don't know how to deal with price changes though.

Generally about ~a week is the range for valid, recent proof.
