This is literally every trackable trade i can find that occurred within the last few months.

Low range of 6.5 is based on the 2 sales near 6.5 buds and 9 is based on the 2 high sales and the non-"quicksale" B/Os. This is the method you are supposed to use when setting a new hat/effect.

Is the range is large? Yes. Do I wish the range was smaller? Yes. Is there anything we can do about it? No. Should we just wait? Maybe. Will giving this hat a price with sales proof help facilitate more trades? Possibly.

If you wish to comment, please provide useful comments, "not OMG, this is wrong! (but I have no reason why)" or "Wut? dat range..." If you have useful information, please provide it.

I agree, problem being that sales are so discrepant it can't actually be shortened, I dunno.

These hats have been around for long enough. it's time to price them. it can be adjusted as we go like anything else. if we don't make an effort to price things when we have the chance the database will spiral into being completely worthless.

Facts > Opinions. Your range is much too large to be acceptable, you need to pick an outlier. You have to wait for more sales.

Cmon man, there are 2 at 6.5 and 2 at 9. One with a b/o at 6 and one at 9. Which would you choose as an outlier?

And wtf are you talking about facts vs opinions? I provided the facts. If I used my opinion the price would be 5-6 b/c aces is crap. I make suggestions based on sales, not my opinion. Just make your vote and move on.

6.5-9 buds range is too big, please close this and wait for another sale to occur to figure out an outlier and re-suggest.

Yes, I have had my trade open for 2 weeks, but what you fail to mention is I changed my notes no more than 2 or 3 days ago to say 6 buds, Ive been quickselling my hats for a while, but never gave the prices I wanted for them sinse 2 or 3 days :/

I gotcha. I also imagine you were willing to go that much below the others b/c you got it for cheap in the Miami deal.

Now this trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17976446 has lowered their B/O to 7 buds from 9 and the one asking for only 6 has removed that portion of the notes (due to this suggestion i imagine)
