7 on outpost. Offers are rolling in very slowly, and they are coming no where near 40-45. Quite frankly, it just makes me mad that people are using backpack.tf to justify their unusual being 45-50 buds, and sometimes a far-fetched theme. Please fix this

Umm, so what? The current price is 47 buds. People are clearly asking as low as 20 buds for them. The price can be lowered simply by using the B/Os.

I don't understand why this should be throwed into the ground like this. A 20 buds or more drop, what is the matter? Just because the offers are running slowly on the hat it doesn't mean it should drop. It's a lot of cash you have to have if you want to buy this hat, and therefore you can't expect there to be an offer every hour either...

For example, if you got a car worth around a million, and there is 1/100 regualr people paying for such a car, then you can't expect them to sell every hour or day either...

Also you got no proofs, the first link is just some guy with a closed trade saying ''screw the suggestion'' and the other link.. what is that actually? The trade is still up, and it's been offered around 40-42 in unusual/mixed.

I don't understand where you get the 750 usd from? You don't have proof for that either.

Actually you have no proofs, you have 1 guy who has a low B/O. He mentions quicksell in his trade. The other have a higher B/O and 1 B/O out of everyone else selling should not have such an impact on this suggestion.

I may get flamed because I have one in my backpack, and maybe it makes people think it's hard for me to be objective about this, but this is just bad.. there is no proof here what so ever!

Id change it but i can't edit that post anymore, so you'll have to look at the other evidence listed in the comments (Specifically one of the previous owners and Jester's comment(s)). There is plenty of proof, more in the comments than in my original post now. Maybe you should check those out before judging me mate.

I realize that if this goes through, your bp will drop around 20 buds, so I understand why you made this post. A fairly biased opinion though, really check out the facts before making another one

Current B/Os are well below the current price, they are the proof need to lower the price.

If you look at the offers on the link provided; you will see that most if not all hit ~30 at tops. In my opinion, the offers make the price of the hat, and what its been sold for. Unfortunately there are people out there who buy into the 45 bud b/o and theme and pay more than they should, and this is why the price hasn't dropped yet. They are having a hard time selling their hats and so will the new owners...

To make everything more "fair" I think we should look at the offers instead of what its being sold for. Until someone else comes with some evidence that a dp tc has been sold for less than 45, this is all that I have.

I assume you didn't read the rules. Not only is it hard to sell an expensive unusual for full bp.tf price (unless it is truly god tier or a misc), but you obviously didn't read the rules. Prices can not be based off offers.

I have read the rules, although I can see why you think I havn't. This is just my argument based on current b/os and offers. Please stop looking at how this argument was made but rather why it was made

Before and after. He traded it 1:1 for a Roboactive Modest, which is admittedly outdated in price, but still well below 45 buds (probably more like 20 to 23)

I was offered a robo active modest + 6 pure for my scorching modest.

Definitely needs a price drop. 47.2 is too much for this hat.

However, I probably wouldn't drop it this much, 25-35 or 30-35 would seem more accurate.

I purchased the one for $750 as a quicksell, as mentioned by the previous owner. The composition of your lower end is based heavily on quicksells.

I've also recently received an offer of an aces high bonk boy (5-7), a hellfire headsplitter (received a $1000 offer early January) and sweets. There's been a few other notable offers above this range. Overall, yes, it needs a drop due to the various buyouts below 47 and few offers reaching 47, but not a drop that is based on quicksells.

Hmm, I do see your point, but you have to take into consideration that the quicksells have been as low as 15 buds to 25. A normal quicksell would maybe be 30 or 35 for a 45-47 bud hat, but these are lower than that (For arguments sake lets just say that my pricing is correct here)

Here's a fake example. Lets say I have an unusual pc'd at 30 buds, but I quicksell it at 10. Wouldn't that make the new owner maybe a little suspicious of the hat being worth actually 30? If hes selling for so low? Get my point here? haha, well, food for thought.

Counter argument for counter argument: The owner(s) really needed the cash. Then I say to you, why then are there multiple 15-25 quicksells? Perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not

Yeah I see your point. I believe the number of quicksells was so high was due to the fact that about 4 were unboxed within a week or so, and the unboxers wanted to sell their new hat quickly, as it cost them just a handful of keys to get anyway.

First link is a duped hat; both were on market, possibly causing the lower buyout.

Can't really explain second link; I can just say I wouldn't sell for that even if this suggestion passes.
