I am new to the voting system, sorry. But if you can tell me how to find history of what the items sold for, it will help.

click the item and look at the history, look at the previous and/or next owner and check if there's an item in one of their outpost trades with the same history but reversed. so trader A sells his DP great helm. you see it in an outpost trade of trader B. Look at the history, find trader A, look at what trader A is selling, oh look he's selling an aces antlers with trader B as the name before his on the history. that's one way.

item histories can also be found on backpack.tf, and backpack.tf saves snapshots of backpacks up to once a day if you're online, you can browse through those and look at what has changed. also lol at whoever downvoted my comment about the 2 sales rule.

this one looks to have sold 10 days ago for a memory leak towering pillar, for example. not too helpful as it's an outdated price and 1 of 1 on the market currently but given that robo effects haven't exactly been rising I wouldn't be thinking of it as more than bp price; which would suggest this is either an outlier or the range should be lower.

it's not really support so much as an example of how it works, it doesn't support your range at all and it's not valid proof anyway cause the pillar price is too outdated to use :P

this one sold for a disco beret, seems to be 1:1 judging by the drop in Hurdy's backpack value. again an outdated price but puts it at nearer 3.5 than 4-4.7 imo.

but yeah, given how many are on the market you should be able to find at least 2 recent, valid sales. make sure the sales are within the last 2 months or it won't be valid either.

Oh, and when outpost says "2 months ago" that actually means "anything over 2 months ago," gets me all the time.

i would just close this one, take a look at all the DP helms on the market and try to find another sale that you can use to price it. feel free to use any of the stuff i've shown you (if it makes sense and further supports your range), don't base anything on it though cause it's not valid for that. good luck! :)

What I see on your "SOLD FOR OVER 4 BUDS IN ITEMS" :

4.5 buds in items (and I didn't apply the overpay factor cuz I don't know who was the offerer) for U. Glasgow + Massed Flies Topi (which is almost outdated at 1.35 buds), making the Glasgow at 3.15 buds

And for the "4.7" buds offer, you didn't take original values or apply overpay factor -> 4.75*0.9 = 4.3 buds
