Reposting original price suggestion because some people are out to devalue hats at any cost.

Sale 1: TODAY, LOLERs (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088269483/) sells his beams modest to Bill (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198057487960/) in a private offer for a Beams Party Phantom (7.5 buds), a Beams Hallmark (9.2 buds) and 6 keys - a total of 15 buds, 5 keys in mixed.

Vestige sold his for a clean Vivid Modest (8.25), a clean Sulphurous Titanium Towering Pillar (priced at 7.5 four months ago but a hard sell, he's trying to QS for 5), and a duped Lantern Bonk Boy (7.3, but duped. I'm told last owner bought for 5 pure, but due to the long and colorful history I don't think I'll be able to actually find it).

Taking the most conservative estimates on each hat (half-price for the bonk boy and 5 on the tower), the hat sold for 8.25 + 5 + 3.5 in unusuals, or 16.75 buds. With 0.9 overpay, that's 15.8 or so.

Further, it's clear that my previous suggestion needs a bump on the low-end, because no one can buy one of these for 13.5 anymore. Here's the other two most recent sales of this hat:

Why do you take so much offense to people trying to make accurate suggestions.

Just because you purchased one does not mean that people correcting mistakes are personally attacking your precious hat and your well being.

Would that extra .2 feed your family for a week?

Taking off .2 made the suggestion accurate, it's not possible to get it for 13.5 anymore and he already made a 15-16 suggestion before but he closed it.

so pillar is around 5ish i guess

from my experience the bonk is 5.5-6ish conservatively after overpay. this sale is then 18, and an outlier. you take too much overpay on the hats.

slug and softcap are outdated, that sale would be around 16 i think.

tldr: slight overvalue of sale 1. sale 2 is an outlier based on backpack.tf prices and recent sales. your 2 sales would be 16 and 15.

other sales do get up to 16, but theres around as much at 16 as there is at 13.5, and 15 in pure does take a while. i dont see why you can include 16 and not 13.5

So there's 1 trade at 14.8 for the low end, if you wana be picky, close this and make him resuggest for the 4th time, it's pretty close either one is a good solution.

Actually, you're a little off with third link. The seller initially had a buyout that was higher than 15 - you can tell because they were offered 15 pure early into the trade and declined it.

To the MODS, plz read his last suggestion if you want to REALLY want to get how this guy thinks.

People trying to make suggestions more accurate to him (being very civil as well) = they're just jealous and want the hat and just want to buy it cheaper, BUT it doesn't work the other way around when he owns one.

So sales at 13.5, 15, 15, 15.3, 16, >17. The true value in pure on this is realistically 15, which is obvious both from the sales as well as from this trade - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7812567 . If he took a year to sell for 15 pure, this likely isn't worth more than 15 in pure. Still, I'll go by my usual methodology. I'm willing to throw out the high and low sales and go with the middle range of 15-16. Votes support this as well.
