My first suggestion ever and unusual suggestion. Killing two Flappy Birds in one pipe, I'm almost excited. :3Time to rustle some Jimi's (Hendrix hat that is)! I am suggesting to you a price for Miami Nights DeGroot Experience, based upon the following proof.
Sold one week ago: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17785602 (Sold for a clean Lime Max Head as offered in the comments, for some reason at the time of my posting the history won't show it.)
However, here's the link to his clean Max Head, which if you check the history you see they ended up doing the trade. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17982872 notice how the previous owner of this max head, ѕt.ℓσυιѕ кєη∂σg, has the Miami DeGroot Experience in his backpack and the previous owner is chosen, the one with his Max.
Another sold: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18096307 this was my own trade, I sold this for 2 buds pure and an O. Fire DeGroot Experience, which is about 3-3.1 buds mixed (which I then sold the O. Fire DeGroot for 1 bud pure within 2 hours).
In conclusion, this hat is worth about 2.7-3 buds, as one trade is pure, and the other is almost completely pure.

It also doesn't appear to have left chosen's backpack, and the history of st. louis kendog's tavish starts with chosen, whereas the one in his trade has a history before him. Very strange.
also given that there are 7-8 of these on outpost 2 sales and no other info seems a little skimpy.

Copper's is .75 (outdated), so that would appear to work out to ~2.25-2.5 ish. I wouldn't be surprised to find more sales like that.

Check the history on the O. Fire Coppers, it was never in your second link's backpack, invalidating the possibility of that offer being accepted. Not to mention that some people who are selling the DeGroots on outpost are highballing, asking for 4-5 buds in pure/mixed.
Edit: Kiwi's DeGroot was sold to a different person entirely, to someone by the name of Wolfrost™ S⇌ 8 Unus. You just provided a link to a gentleman who bought Kiwi's Blizzardy Rebel Rouser with the Flies Noble, it has nothing to do with the DeGroot trade.

if you're confused about the rouser, look: Kiwi got a Blizzardy Rebel and an O Fire Copper's for his Degroot. To understand what that means for the value of that sale, let's look at buyouts. there's no set buyout for the rebel, but oh look one is revealed as the owner would accept 1.5. Therefore the rebel rouser part of the trade should not be valued at over 1.5 if that's where people are willing to sell at. This guy has nothing to do with the copper's, I'm estimating the value of Kiwi's sale using his buyout as a rough guide.
I see what you're saying now, I was reading the trade histories wrong. However seeing how two of them sold rather easily within the range I provided, I would determine out of three sales that the one you provided would be the outlier. Especially since Kiwi sold it to Wolf within a day after opening the trade, if I'm not mistaking that's considered a quicksell. Kiwi also bought the DeGroot for a Harvest Moon Prancer's Pride, the owner added a gifted earbud. Now up to three sales, credit given to coolrocks for pointing out what kiwi bought it for in steam chat and contradicting his own statement.
as if I didn't just tell you exactly that about what Kiwi paid in steam chat, no credit? really? lol.
anyway what i said to you there I guess i'll say again here: 2 sales ain't good enough when it's clearly not a very stable effect and more sales are available. you can also contact owners to ask what they sold for.

Very well then, here's the basic version.
Within the past week, 1 sold for a clean lime Max Head (2.7-2.8 buds in value) and another sold for 2 pure buds and an Orbiting Fire DeGroot Experience (3-3.1 buds in combined value). Two sales are needed to set a price on a new hat, these two sales happened within the past 7 to 10 days. Using the freshest sales, I have set the range at the low end of a Max Head (2.7 buds) to the low end of the mixed (3 buds).

Interestingly, the guy had two and he didn't trade the one in his trade.
Looks like another one sold for a MN gonzila which has an old price. Probably closer to 2.5 now. But this is close enough for me. It does appear to be able to get 3, at least for now.
