I may be wrong but i think you need 2 valid sales, downvote unless proven wrong, good proof though
Old/Hat effect, one sale is valid
I know this is true, I also talked to 2 mods about it to check that yes, this is valid
Ok, changed to upvote
You sure?

I realize that everyone here loves to price hats based on sales and I'm fine with that but I personally would rather have my crones not priced and I personally believe it will ruin the price of it, the offers have been in the 35-40 range and I bought this for cheap, consider this a quick sell price because he needed the pure/money for irl situations that will not be disclosed. Personally I will downvote this as this is not the correct pricing in my opinion.. Considering the offers on it are considerably higher then what I paid in the pure/cash
Please point out those higher offers and make sure to apply unusual overpay on them. They have to be recent and not retracted.
I am sorry if you feel this is off. Few people refer to bp.tf pricing for high end hats. The discrepancy between a hat's value in pure and what it can sell for in unusuals is very wide. Instead of saying what we think a hat is worth, our stance on high end hats is simply to report the sale.
To quote my fellow mod, Vincent: "I think what matters more here is what it ultimately sold for rather than what it might have sold for or what the seller might have been willing to take in pure a day/a week/a month prior to the sale. This isn't an unusual that regularly trades hands, this isn't an unusual that's going to see more on the market, this isn't an unusual where- let's face it- what we put down here is going to have any influence whatsoever on how anyone trades these things. These high tier unusuals are and always have been their own little playground and what we put down here for them have always served little more than an interesting little record of how they've most recently changed hands. So long as the suggested price accurately matches the final transaction, for an item like this, I don't see any point in fussing over prior pure B/Os or thinking about what he might have alternatively accepted in pure."
What are the non-valid sales? It's still good to see if they are in the same neighborhood as a litmus check.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12970606 deal in the first aces hoc that was unboxed.
but the crones was recently offered a logo noh twice
Isn't the Vivid Crone 1 of 1?That said 1 sale should be enough, but it does seem like it can fetch more than the suggested price. Also it's 'old hat/effect', not 'old/hat effect' mate.
I'm sorry sir, I see no selling price on that trade, where are you getting your info from? It definitely wasn't from me, and I'm sure Mints didn't tell you what he paid.
You wrote in the trade exactly what you sold it for before closing it. I saw it and in hindsight I should have screencapped it. It was in capital letters at the top of the notes and I'm sure a few other have seen it as well. Jesus has even proven what you sold it for by providing a link to your bp.
Edit: I guess if neither you nor Mints wishes to disclose any other methods of payment and how much was exchanged then we can only assume the suggestion is wrong. Still it wasn't fair of you to write in caps what you "sold" it for as it was just a blatant lie and then just remove it and pretend you didn't write it.
I never said I didn't write it, but what I wrote was THE INCORRECT price. Therefore I removed the price before I closed the trade, so a suggestion like this wouldn't pop up trying to underprice the hat.
I know you didn't say you didn't write it but you still ignored the fact you did. You should have stated in your original comment that you removed it and why rather then accusing Jesus of incorrect proof he got from what you wrote and what the bp history shows. I'm paraphrasing here. I understand and accept why you did what you did. :]
Either way the suggestion is wrong, if what you and Mints say is true. So I wish someone would just close this already.
I completely understand the point you're trying to make, I was flustered at the time of posting so I didn't really even think of posting the reason why the price was removed, I apologize for the confusion
I wish someone would close this already as well. And if this was truely what I paid for it then I would let the suggestion go through. But underpricing my hat because he saw what was new in Nicky's bp is just downright wrong, he has no screenshots of the trade and he has not added me to talk to what I paid for it and frankly i'm just done with this, weather the suggestion go through or not. He does not know what paypal transactions were included and so forth. Anyway I appreciate your guys understanding of this.
erm. bp history. Also it does quite clearly say in the comments that he offered 26 pure. And since mints has commented I'm sure he would mention that he paid something else if I was wrong.
EDIT: Lol you're the seller. Why would you want to lie about this? As me and lots of other people saw (including at least 2 mods of this site) you wrote in all caps what it sold for.
To be fair BP history only proves what he gave me via tf2, I'm not saying your price is wrong, but I'm not saying it's right either.
I also love how no one ever takes into account offers that were received, and just sale price. There were plenty of offers in the 30-40 range that I chose not to accept because I needed pure/cash ASAP. But they are still there, and they were still offered.
Once more, not trying to sound rude at all so no offense to you. But I myself would rather this mother priced at all. Yea I posted on his trade and in the comments he said he was interested kinda, so of corse we talked and we came to an agreement of what would be paid outside of the steam trade which I will not disclose as again I do not what this hat priced, sorry mate
Like the time my sulphurous pile was priced at 12-13, every offer I had received was completely ignored, and then I sold it for around 22 a few days afterwards.
Well, considering sulph pile isn't price I doubt the legitimacy of your comment. If you have an issue with pricing, speak to the mods, no need to bring irrelevant butthurt into my suggestion.

Sulphurous Modest Pile of Hat - 13.25 buds
Anyway feel free to price the hat, but learn to do some accurate f******* research first before you try to set a price in stone.

jester != jesus
And please don't insult/swear.
Sorry about that.
I don't see anything wrong with the sulphurours modest suggestion, no higher offers on the current trade either.~
Aye I had proof of the higher offers which I showed to who was listing it, which he decided to completely ignore, and then I showed him what I sold it for which was around 22 buds, which he also chose to ignore. At this point we're way too far derailed from the topic at, I honestly shouldn't of brought up a price from the past. Anyway, I listed the INCORRECT selling price on my trade, so I removed it before I closed the trade, So a pricing like this wouldn't happen.
Phosph Modest Was priced by some random white belt
Phosph Metal Modest was priced by pyroman
Suplh Metal Modest is unpriced
Sulph Modest was priced by someone who's inactive now.
I hope you realize I edited my comment because I didn't meant to put you down as the culprit.
Actually did it a while ago, if you would pay attention you would of noticed.
