Oh, no, here we go again...My apologies for my last suggestion, I was too inexperienced to make one properly.
One-of-one due to the rareness of new Halloween effects and has only one sale, but still deserves a price.

What I'm trying to show is that my suggestion has the low price as the previous owner's suggested lowest price and the high price as the price I paid. (Note: the pricing fractions rounded up: initially set to 2.25-2.35 buds at 20 keys per bud.)
In any regard, this is all the proof there's going to be until next Halloween (unless other instances of this hat come to light of which I am unaware). It is not my intention to ever sell this unusual. I am even working on a matching killstreak weapon set (villainous violet sheens). Even so, I would at least like to have its worth represented to the best of my ability.

It's preferred, I agree, but at least one sale on a rare item (like a 1:1 unusual) is sometimes acceptable.
No, you are correct; Since this is a hat with a recently released effect, it falls under the sites rule of needing 2 sales in order to be priced properly. Doesn't matter if there is only one currently in existence; a single unusual can be traded multiple times and therefore the rule still applies.
You are assuming, though, that there will be future sales of this particular unusual. Being that I don't intend to sell, it's extremely unlikely that there will be any more trades before next halloween. Therefore, I made a price suggestion based on the only proof that will be available until then.

You speak as if this has not popped up before for other 1 of 1 unusuals in this same situation; if there is no second sale of an unusual that supports the suggested range, then it is simply not time to price it yet. There have been many unusuals that go years before they are priced since it is better for an unusual to go unpriced then be priced prematurely. And since you claim to never sell yours, that makes the need for another sale all the more necessary; No need to rush the price of an unusual that will not even return to the market any time soon. Plus, like I said, under the new rules for the site a second sale is needed for any unusual that is either new or has a recently released effect to it.

Halloween effect, 1 of 1, and won't be unboxed for a while. Well, I guess it's OK for it to be based on one sale.
