Suggestion: Vintage Tyrant's Helm at 0.85–1 keys

Conclusion:

This hat is very hard to sell for 1 key. On outpost some have been unsold for 4 weeks+ (up to 6 months). Even at a lower price (6 ref, 6.33, 6.88 and 7 ref) they are still unsold from between 1 day and 4 days. This hat has been hard enough to sell that there was even someone willing to sell for 4 ref recently (this is an outlier however)

Verdict:

Change the price range to between 6 ref (0.85 keys) and 1 key

Comments, proof, counter-proof and constructive criticism are all welcomed, still getting used to this suggestion business - my second suggestion :)

In this case buyers doesn't really help you with your proof. Buyers at a price higher than the current range may help you, but since this is lowering the price, you need more sellers for the low end.

yeah so when i was making this suggestion i found every trade that was selling these that was not painted or special levels. So i agree some of this is not the best bumped proof, but it is the only proof/only trades. There was only 3 trades that i didn't put in which where 1key+ because that wouldnt have been relevant to the suggestion.

also i did leave 1 key in the range as they do sell at that value but they also sell lower as well

i agree that there isnt much at the low end, but all at the normal price do not sell, and there are only 4 selling for all different values that are lower than current price (6, 6.33, 6.88 and 7 ref).

So what would you suggest the range should be then?

While it is very hard to sell for a key, it is hard to draw a conclusion as to what the low end should be, as each of the three links below 1 key all have different prices. Best just to wait and see

^This, i'm pretty sure there are still some Vintage Tyrant's being sold for a key or its equivalent, and one 4-day old unbumped trade is not a viable link for the suggested low-end. So the current price seems fine at the moment, or you could attempt - 6.33-7 or 6.66-7, but I doubt it will be successful with only 1 link, 2 max supporting that low end.

i wasnt able to find any sales for the helm at 1 key, and due to the length of time some of these hats have been unsold for it seems that they dont sell very regularly at all at this range, but if you have counter proof of 1 key sales im more than happy to be wrong.

Indeed the 1 key trades currently up are days old, but I suppose that's to be expected with Vintage hats as they do take a while to sell. I might scrape through some trades for 1 key sales if I get the time, but my previous point stands nonetheless.

yeah i totally agree. i was originally only intending to put it as a conservitive bump by lowering by like 1rec or something, its just there wasnt any links at the 6.66 price, even though logically thats what i would have put it as.

so do you think i should re-suggest then at like a 6.33-7 ref range?

but then again if i did resuggest at that range im not sure i could put 7 ref cos most people dont want ref and only want keys, which would mean my suggestion would go back to 0.89-1 key (6.33/7.11 = 0.89) which is fairly close (0.04 of a key) away from my current suggestion

so yeah, not 100% sure what to do

I am still curious with the range. People will might get confused with the 0.85 end. I stay neutral.
