The only 2 recent sales. 3 others on the market and they're all asking 5 pure or more. One of them is from the unboxer and has gone unsold for a month. Another is only as a set. The other has no offers.

that katyusha was 4 buds at the time of the sale. Since it was not outdated you should use this value.

And even if thats not the case its a clear outlier since the other one sold for 3.5 PURE in a very short time.

I was told to update the kat first from 2 different mods and to price from there as that price was several months old. That seller actually had a 3.5 bud B/O for awhile before the sale.

If you want to, go ahead. Feel free to use these 2 sales in it if you like. I'm not after dropping your old hat, I'm after pricing this for accuracy and using it to price another outdated hat.

A lot of my hats are getting lowered for basically no reason. People just use "its a new effect" to lower everything :)

thats often not even the case. the sales are very inaccurate and the overpay rule is just, excuse me, shit.

Yes and no.

Overpay is bad since it ultimately leads to the devaluation of all hats: Hat A trades for Hat B (B offered), so A is worth .9B and then later on A gets offered (and accepted) on B, now B is .9A (which is .9B), so B is .81A.

But at the same time, 4 pure is worth 'more' than 4 in unusuals.
