I really dont understand why. Mind explaining?

"Standardized overpay
All OFFERED hats and items should be taken at 90% of their original average price."
If anything, it should be 4.8-5.1
Unusual Overpay Must Be accounted for when unusuals/items are used to pay for an unusual rather than pure. The logic is that the person selling would likely have taken about .9*(value of offer) in PURE keys/buds. Another way to look at it is that the seller expects to be trading up if they are taking non-pure.
The Suggester in this case has accounted for overpay properly
Hmmm I suppose. But I think that if someone is willing to pay higher, even if it was overpay, we should still take into account what exactly was sold. If the seargeants drill hat was indeed 5.1 buds, then perhaps it is smarter to take is closer to 5.1. What im trying to say is that despite it being overpay, someone was clearly willing to pay over what was asked. So while we could take it at face values of 5.1 and 4.8, i think that a more willing range than the suggested on would be 4.6-4.8. And that accounts for the ones unsold as well.
Overpay calculations are standardized. The formula is (mid-value)*.9 . Arguing this with a couple of users on a random suggestion isn't going to change anything. If you want to take up the issue of Overpay as a general topic feel free to take it to the forums and get a full response from a mod.
Thanks. I didnt know there was a standard overpay calculation. Still dont thin kits 100 percent accurate so ill stay where i am for now.
AlphaOmega is right on the drill hat sale. You have no proof of the exact sale, and you also don't know whether the guy with the drill offered on the guy with the noble, or vice-versa, so you can't just apply overpay to the drill hat when you don't even know who was exactly doing the overpay.
KaW drill helm is a 3 month old price
DP Little buddy is a 6 month old price.
haha yeah i sold it for nowhere near 2 buds (the dp buddy i mean)
I might actually just make a counter suggestion with better proof and more sales when this gets declined.
If anything this suggestion is still too high considering that the KAW robo drill and DP lil buddy have inflated values.
