But having the buyouts still within range (3.9-4.8) show that this price is still valid, and if anything could possibly be dropped even a little bit lower, which would lower the the price of the Eerie Spartan even more.

PE is only 4 months old, flamenco is also 4 months old, so both are only just too old (by 1 month) , still both good indicators of current value

However if the admins want me to do a mini suggestion for each one i can do so, but due to both being fairly recently priced i felt that wasn't necessary

By two months actually, they become outdated at 2 months, your sale could have happened a day after it became outdated and your proof would still be invalid.

The first trade is a month old, the sale is more recent,

The second is a week old, it's sale is also more recent (4 days ago)

You can stand by it sure, but it will not pass, rules are rules. Just because those are the most recent sales doesn't mean the rules can be bent, If these are the ONLY two most recent sales, then it cannot be changed til more sales come in that are not outdatedWell, if you can manage to put price those two unusuals again Both the PE Defiant and the Flamenco , which should also help your Defiant price count, come back and resuggest.

Conclusion: Both the Flamenco's and the PE Spartan's bp.tf prices are still good representations of current value.

Well, B/O's don't really help with a reconfirmation, you would only need 1 sale for the spartan and 2 for the flamenco, I think. I know for a fact you only need 1 sale for the PE spartan, because it's first gen. It would be best to see what those two links bought the spartan for. And find flamencos and check history and see what they traded them for. Make sure none of the hats they traded are outdated though

The whole point of mini suggestions is that they are showing that the value that they are currently priced at is still relevant, they dont have to be as stringent (in terms of sales) as normal suggestions - hence why a mini suggestion

Those are the only 3 on the market and because im not a paying subscriber to bp.tf i can't find the history of the other 2

And again: 1st one was never traded

2nd: untraded for 6 months:

3rd one: Traded for the Eerie Spartan, previous to that was untraded for 4 months. Then previous to that, this specific flamenco was traded 3 more times, and those 3 sales were the proof which priced the flamenco in the first place.

Therefore as i say above it is still a good representation of the price of the flamenco.

And they do have the same requirements of a normal suggestion, you would still need sales. B/O's cannot raise an unusual alone, if you're trying to lower/raise either of the hats you plan on doing suggestions on to support your eerie defiant you will need sales. Unless lowering an unusual. And if the flamencos arent being circulated maybe there wont be a new price for the spartan anytime soon, not every hat can be priced.

Ok, seriously man i've put a in a lot of effort here to try and prove my point, you are still not happy.

So if you feel that my suggestion does not give a good indication of the current value for this hat, you are more than welcome to hit that disagree button.

However i personally feel that this is sufficient proof for an update on the price range for this hat (which hasn't been priced for over a year), so i guess we will let the admins decide.

Well, I've already "hit that disagree button" because your "proof" is not sufficient. You can feel a certain way all you want. Rules are rules. An admin will tell you the same thing. There are hats that havent been updated for longer than a year, some that dont even have prices that will never get prices. You need hats that are not outdated. This will not pass I assure you. If you want to price this unusual find sales for the PE Defiant, and Flamenco. Otherwise this suggestion will go no where fast.

anyhow my point is, is that although rules are rules, they are in place as guidelines to help the vast majority of suggestions and trades. However as can clearly be seen there are exceptions. In my case, my trades are only just outdated, my mini proof shows that although outdated, the prices haven't changed and can still be used. And besides this is a rare hat with 3 in existence and only 1 sold is needed to bump this trade yet i found 2, both with same selling value give or take half a bud either way because of the range of the other hats it sold for.

If there were no exeptions to the rules big suggestions like pricing the scorching viewfinder and sunbeams brotherhood would never happen, and bp.tf would never get prices. Thats why people use mini suggestions to show that old prices are still roughly right rather than waiting forever for the sales to happen for these things to be re-priced to the letter of the law.

Note to Polar Bear or admin looking over this trade: Can you please update rules/guidelines for Unusuals to include a section to refer to mini suggestions within unusual trades?? Thank you :)

Secondly, let's throw the word phrase "Mini Suggestion" Out the window because it's not a thing, Get that in your head. You still need to abide by all the rules in every suggestion, Which you're clearly not understanding. Outdated hats are not proof, there is no such thing as mini proof, and B/O's cannot make a price relevant again, because that's wht you seem to think. There are hats rarer than this with a price, because people actually did more research than you did. If there's only one or two solds in a while it does not need a bump, you are trying to force a new price on something that is not update-able yet.

Possibly if you had a working experience of the rules, through doing hundreds of suggestions and knew the rules and the system from the inside out then i would close the suggestion as you would have been obviously more experienced then me and me still being fairly new price suggesting would understand that i perhaps misunderstood the rules. However it turns out that possibly you may not know the rules as well as you think, seeing as you have had all 5 of your suggestions not approved by admins. So please if you feel so strongly about this ruling and the exact interpretations of it please speak to an admin, rather than debate it here. No hard feelings but can we stop debating and let the mods decide about the rules that they made? Thanks :)

It's not a debate when you're wrong, My suggestions may have not passed but I still know the rules.

@Wooden House. Please keep in mind that all unusual values are estimates. It's okay to provide mini-suggestions to bolster the proof when our rules are too stringent to make an official suggestion. He's lowering the value on a hat, so conservatively using b/os for PE spartan is fine. That sale is certainly no more than ~5.1 after overpay. The second sale involves a hat with a 4 month old price. That may not stand alone, but it's close enough to 5 to show that 5 is unlikely an outlier.

@Capes: I think the the offer of the GE spartan + SF RL is hard to ignore. Realistically, that's probably close to 6 (maybe 5.5) and that was rejected. Perhaps a range of ~5-6 for a conservative drop?

yeah true, i guess i was more just basing it off sales, would you recomment i re-submit with a bigger range? i didnt have a range because offers were still offers, like because they hadn't been accepted the guy could have decided not to go through with it. what are your thought?
