Might be time to give this a small update - 6 month old price:

Summary:

1 trade has a buyout of 4 buds that has not been taken for 1 month, but has had offers where the highest offer was around 4.6-4.8 before calculating overpay.

The next trade sold for a PE dragonborn, which even at the old price (4.6-5.1) and even if you took the highest price in the range, would have sold for a max of 4.5 with overpay.

The third trade had some good offers, with the max being an offer of around 5 buds after overpay.

Conclusion:

Drop the price to 4 buds (lowest buyout) - 5 buds (highest offer)

I don't think the first hat shown can be used as proof, its obviously duped...

Umm.. excuse my ignorance but how do you know its duped?

Methods:

1) You can either check on tf2items and look up the history of the hat and it will indicate if it exists in another user's bp and you check the bp. If it exists in 2 seperate bps then it is duped. This is the safest way to check.

2) Go the the users bp on backpack.tf and click on the item in question and click history. If it's duped it will be indicated. This although reliable it sometimes misses.

however seeing as the other hat sold for around the same price and people still offering around the 4 bud range for the duped hat i feel the low end still stands

You can't use offers in minisuggestions to establish a "mini-range." Unless you can find one more sale for it you haven't really mini-proved the dragonborn. The "quick selling for 4 pure" also sold rather fast. Neutral.

yeah i understand i wish i could provide more proof for the dragonborn but there is only 1 on outpost atm and thats the one the was sold for the CM.

My proof was saying that it is probably lower in value than the 4.6 - 5.1 range. But even if we took that range and used it, even at the high end it only counts as 4.5 buds after overpay which is within my range.

and that mini proof is for offers and b/y of that 1 hat on outpost before this trade because that is the only one i could find proof for

Also, the sunbeams private guy wanted to add a strange hunts with parts, making his offer ~4.1 after overpay. Lowend seems a bit too low.
