http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18252561 6 keys unsold 3 weeks
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18675618 7 keys unsold 5 days
A. Lackluster proof. Get more links.
B. 6 keys shouldn't be your suggested price as you're showing that it doesn't sell all that quickly.
C. On that note, you need solds if you're going to disprove the entire previous range.
Everything you just said is completely invalid
A. These are the only 2 non killstreak sellers with a b/o on outpost
B. What should I set the price to then?
C. Solds aren't required for dropping a price.
A. Links doesn't just mean current trades on OP. There's closed trades and other sites to find proof. And if *nobody's* trades are selling...
B. This means that it doesn't need or can't have a new price yet. i.e. no suggestion needed.
C. If you're disproving the entire previous range, then yes, you do. Otherwise you don't have any proof for the new pricerange, or what it actually **sells** for, and not what it doesn't sell for.
I would suggest having proper knowledge of what you are saying before you say it.
So you don't have an actual retort, then?
Well, if you insist.
A. Checked the other sites. Nada
B. This only for setting a price.
C. You only need sellers for dropping the price unless it's an incredibly large drop
A. Fair enough.
B. You misunderstand me. You put 6 keys in your range DESPITE the fact that you disprove 6 keys in your links. This is illogical and while there is demand out there, and the current range is wrong, no seller has shown how low they are willing to go yet meaning the low end cannot be determined yet. Essentially, the proof for disproving the current range is there, but not how low it should be now. Putting 6 in the current range is simply illogical as you have just disproved it. This means that you should wait until a sold comes up for less than or equal to 6 keys and then resuggest. If I am wrong as to why 6 keys is still valid despite you disproving it, please explain.
C. See B as to why I think that's invalid.
Even if I 'disprove' 6 keys, the price still needs to be set at something, so the best bet is the lowest seller(s). We're not really going for 100% this is the common trade point, we are just trying to get as accurate as we can until we are able to get to an actual determinable common trade point.
I can't say I'm keen on that train of thought, but it's enough to sway me. Changed to upvote.
he's not disproving the entire previous range, he's just removing the high end :| and a couple links only is fairly standard for these collector weapons
So the one at 7 keys disproves that part of the previous suggestion but the one at 6 keys, even while being unsold longer, doesn't? You can't pick and choose like that. 6 keys shouldn't be in the range at all because he just disproved it, and because RP hasn't provided any other evidence suggesting a different price, this suggestion isn't necessary because ALL of the current trades on OP haven't sold within the range and there's nobody selling for lower, meaning that nobody is buying at all (unless evidence comes to light that there have been recent solds under 6 keys) and the current market is at a stalemate. It's up to sellers to lower their prices to what the buyers want, and then a suggestion can be made accordingly.
The 6key seller had it up for 9 before.
I thought that, but I wasn't sure if I should have added that since I didn't have any proof or knowledge of it.
If 6 is unsold, why is it in the range?
Because there is no evidence of anyone selling for lower.
