As to your 'solds' for 5ref.. There is not a SINGLE comment or 'offer' made. If there was, it was done directly/verbally. You can't say it was 'sold' for that price just because it's gone from their backpack now.

You realize sellers can restock, right? Also, for god's sake, look at your links before you post them. Half of them aren't bumped for almost 6 days.

yeah i want "old" proof because if I put a trade up 10 seconds ago, it can't count as "unsold", think about it. to be a valid "unsold" it has to have exposure to the market, not be either too new to have sold yet or too hidden and unbumped to see any action.

also comments saying: "i added you for this at this price" aren't necessary, simple as that, if someone puts it up on outpost for a certain price, then closes the trade/the item leaves their backpack, it is assumed to have sold for that price, as long as that price isn't clearly ridiculous. i would estimate that when i sell items on outpost, 80-90% of the time I don't get a comment when someone buys something from me, which is why it isn't necessary for proof, because you'd be discounting almost all of your available sales.

as for your new "old unsolds", they're probably unsold because they have either never been bumped or clearly very poorly bumped and thus get no exposure, and therefore aren't valid as proof that it can't sell for 5. all those trades prove is that 5 ref doesn't always sell without a bump. hardly "clearly must be removed from the range" proof.

PROOF POSITIVE that there are a MULTITUDE of low end sellers, not even considering sales below 4.66. I opened this suggestion simply to take away the range, I can open another one to lower it because not even the 4.66's are moving fast enough.

you're not responsible for other people's trades, but you are responsible for how you use them as proof. I'm coming onto 'YOUR' suggestion critically, and calling you out where your proof is simply invalid, and counterproving that 5 ref can and does sell, because that's how this site works.

You can be all huffy about how it's YOUR suggestion, but it's a suggestion that's on a COMMUNITY website. I'm not upset that there are unbumped trades out there. I'm upset that you are using them in a misleading way to suggest that 5 ref isn't possible, because they clearly don't prove that. I don't know what your problem with me is, perhaps you feel I'm being harsh, but this personal "ooh you're being mean" stuff is just boring. Show me better proof where 5 ref isn't a viable price and I'll be happy to support your suggestion.
