To answer your question: if you can see in the previous suggestion, 0.03 = ~half a clean weapon, so I'm assuming that the price got suggested to this because there were people buying and selling 2 noisemakers for a weapon. :)

The people I traded were practically giving them out for free to me because they're like crates and I was paying 1:2 at the time

I've been buying these periodically for a while now. I have 181 (don't judge me) and it has been my experience that as soon as people see that I am collecting them they are desperate to get rid of them. I haven't bought any for .05 in almost a year. People tell me they're taking up slots in their backpack. Some people just give them away. So I'm not sure that 2 offers of .05 and 2 buyers at .05, both of which are no longer buying is really going to cut it...

0.03 = Most uncraftable unique weapons or three crates.

Except that crates aren't actually worth 0.01 ref - that's just the lowest value an item can be assigned. Most are actually worth less.

I think you mean worthless; that space changes the term greatly...

Actually, it's both worth less and worthless. Its value is less than that of a weapon, which makes it, well, worthless.

I went through a fair share of trade and none are selling for 0.03. That's the point here and I think I covered it well.

That is somewhat true. I am neutral. But I think you still need more proof of recent sales.

Added some classifieds,none are under 0.03.

For some reason misc & collector items are increasing (i.e old Noise Maker's, Spellbook), not surprised this is increasing.

0.05/2 = 0.025 = 0.03~

I raffled off 108 of these things--I had to do two raffles because the first winner wouldn't take them

Not actually seeing any of these going for 0.03. Seems like people either give them away or wait a while to sell for 1 wep-1 scrap. Going with the community vote
