Hey guys, so I've recently seen this specific hat being sold after a few days so the data is very new.
The last accepted suggestion was 11 months ago so I thought I could validate the data again.
Alright, so this hat currently has 2 sellers on TF2OP (I haven't checked other sites, TF2OP is probably the most popular anyways)
First trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18486360 (1 Offer, Stormy Storm Phantom and Pro KS Revolver. Maybe 2.5 Maximum in my opinion. Offered 3 weeks ago.)
Second Trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18834751 (3 days and not a single offer. Yes he has auto bump on, but people are just not as interested. Key thing to mention is that this hat was bought for 1.5 buds and 2 keys worth of sweets. This is the trade: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18833764 )
Thanks for considering. It may not be the best suggestion but I would still like to see someone revamp the data.
Your third link is broken (needs a space before the bracket after it)
You have 1 sold at ~1.6 and no solds for the upper boundary, just your "opinion" on the value of a hat and an unpriced KS item. Opinions on values attract a lot of hate around here, you need solid proof. Gonna have to downvote, sorry.
You come to conclusions very fast and I dislike that about people. Firstly, I gave it an upper boundary of 2.5 because people, in this case, that trader was willing to offer that much. This means the hat has good value attached to it. You also misinterpreted what I mean by my opinion, probably due to my bad English. What I meant was that the Stormy Storm Phantom and Pro KS Revolver could be sold at that maximum price, but that's just what I think and some one might think those items are worth less or more.
I'm sorry that my decisiveness offends you. I was only trying to help/provide constructive criticism. You managed to use some of my advice (the link issue) at the same time as telling me you disliked me. An interesting approach.
But since the phantom price is too old to be valid and the Pro KS is unpriced and no overpay was applied and it hasn't even sold, I'd still say that it is invalid.
But regardless of my thoughts, best of luck with your suggestion.
I dislike the fact that you down voted it so quickly without thinking about other factors, in this case my grammatical structure. I find your opinion very useful and good guidance for any future price suggestions. Now that you said "since the phantom price is too old to be valid and the Pro KS is unpriced and no overpay was applied and it hasn't even sold, I'd still say that it is invalid" I can understand what you mean.
phantom is dated and cant be used, also KS items have no price. Best to avoid using offers as proof since they wernt accepted.
Thats like stating a burning KE is worth 1 scrap because thats what i offered on it.
Alright, I'll try that next time. But still, if the hat is offered some items worth 2.5 buds (My opinion) then it shows the hat has potential to achieve good value. I should not have used bp.tf data for the Phantom, that was incorrect.
Low end appears to be a quicksale, it sold in less than 2 hours.
It was not a quicksale. The owner wanted approximately 2 buds so he accepted.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18750705 - sold for KaW pot (3.4-3.6, 6 month old price)
The one that sold for 1.6 buds appears to have sold very fast, so it might be a quicksale. However, there isn't much interest in this hat and offers are quite low as well. The pot sale might be an outlier, or the pot may just be way overpriced. The high end is also shaky, because it's based on an offer (a hat with an old price) and not an actual sale.
The limited interest in this hat makes it hard to find a good price for...
