For any wonderers, his comment was basically saying how the strangifiers go for less than a key on the scm.
and my reply was
Strangifers are different than the applied product.
Keep in mind that if you were to apply the strangifier to the deep cover, you'd still have to pay ~1.2 keys for the hat itself.
But we're not talking about the unique version, this is the strange version.

Judging by the sales history, it seems to go regularly for over 5 dollars, and quite frankly I don't know shit about how to calculate a price from steam market sales, but I do know that if you wanted to sell enough keys to get 5 dollars, you would have to sell at least 3 keys, seeing that selling one key for 1 cent lower than the current key listings would net you about 2 dollars. http://puu.sh/86Vdb.png

Anyways, I see what you mean. Not much proof of 3 keys right now, especially since there are currently unsolds on the market for them.
But for now, I don't think I have enough proof for less than 3 keys for me to remove it from the range. As time goes on, the 3 key unsolds probably stay unsold, and some other person will make the suggestion to lower the price, if this gets accepted or not.
I sold 1 for 5 keys+ in items, the person gave me some s.ks killstreaks, I do not count the value of killstreaks,(item overpay was about a key+) when it didn't have a price, I'd say that this is good proof. I have seen some go for 3 keys on outpost when it just came out, for me...
(Just asking, no offense, but are you giving it a price so that your backpack value goes up? You have one...

Pretty much, yeah. Saw it was unpriced and I owned one, and since I had nothing to do except for lag within tf2, I decided to make the suggestion. I don't see a problem with suggesting on items you own though. You can own one or one hundred, it shouldn't matter so long as your proof is sufficient enough to back you up. Thanks for your support.

I just bought one for 3 keys on outpost also the guy that has listed the solds below the 3 keys has won against the 2 keys so that means that it should accually be 3 keys not 2.
Trying to sell for 2.4 - 2.5 keys, fruitless so far.
I bought 1 for 2 keys a couple days ago with ease.
3 keys is a little iffy, but the proof is there, the votes are there, and counterproof has not been provided. The range can use some refining, but this will do for now.
