One comment I want to make here. In an ideal world, we would have dynamically updated prices on all items and unusuals every day so that we could take all sales as they were valued at the time of the sale. Unfortunately, this is impossible. As such, we usually encourage people to use the suggestion as close as possible to the sale to determine the value at the time of the sale. For regular items which get updated regularly, this usually means using the price at the time of the trade. But for unusuals, which rarely get updated, this usually means the current price is more accurate than any price listing at the time of the trade.

Unfortunately, new effect hats are dynamic with price changes even over the course of weeks. They are really a moving target when it comes to evaluating them in a sale. As such, it's really impossible to figure out what the value was on the miami crones 3 weeks ago when the sale happened. Probably somewhere between 13 and 19, but we just can't tell. Given this, I think it is best to not use the miami crones sale to price this at all.

I have looked at this suggestion more than my fair share. This to me seems about right now. But I will let another mod take a look for the final decision on this one.
