Which part of #DeathToMiami did you guys not understand?

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19247454 B/O 11.

http://imgur.com/CSwzexW B/O on classifieds of 11.

Only 2 sales since the last suggestion.

One apparently either went for cash or was sharked: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19043773 But had a B/O of 11.

The other appears to have been duped: http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2294530800,451,5

Bonk Boy is lucky for now... I can only drop it about ,5

Doesn't it have to be a >5% change in price if the price isn't outdated by 3 months?

Other way around. "Price refreshers are suggestions changing the value of a hat by <5%; changes in values of unusuals by <5% require at least 2 months between suggestions."

It's actually been about 2 months since last one.

The seller at 11 is way too young and classified is usually not valid proof for unusual suggestion.

Buyouts are buyouts, it's been 6 days, it matches other B/Os on the market, and they are considered invalid when there is a link; not a screencap.

Classified along with valid proof is okay. But if classified is the only thing supporting the suggestion, it's a down vote. In which case, down vote for the young trade.

Your logic is horrific. Also Proof > Logic

He has had 0 luck at all at his new buyout, obviously meaning this needs to be bumped down. If the price is 11-11.5 and he can't even get 11 then why should ANYTHING above 11 be included in the range?

            Disliked.

Actually,i'm selling it for 12.5 and not 11.....just sayin...

Pwned by G-What. Flipper should be banned for manipulation.

yeah,i've changed that, and? is it a crime? And no,he didn't owned me at all.

Not a crime, just clearly suspicious. Your trade had been open for some time with no offers, then suddenly when it is used as proof to update this you raise it? As if you didn't want bp.tf to lower it.

Anyhow, Vince has a confirmed sale for less than the range. It's going to drop either way (Well, it already has, but now it can be official.)

I do what i want, don't act like a police inspector, because you're not. Am i free to put the prices that i want? Yeah i am. So don't judge me. You want to do your suggestion? Feel free to do it, but don't speculate on what i do just for your purposes implying that i'm doing "something suspiciuous".

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18917747#latest had trouble selling for 10

i think tormented (i was brokering) sold it for a planets tc and a burning cone

Did you end up getting 10 pure or is that the same sale?

no, planets tc and a burning cone. tho with overpay, its 10

yeah, agreeing with SSJG, proof is way too young

if anyone of them sold at 11 right now, the proof would be invalid as a quicksell

admins rank quicksells based on tiers and effects, high tier selling in under 3 days=quick, but effect overrides that, and any non first gen going in under a week= a quicksell

Eh. The only suggestions for which I accept suggestions based on b/os are ones where there is a significant, much needed decrease to close down the large buyer-seller gap.

This isn't enough for me, though I understand if another mod feels differently. I just don't like having the price marked as "updated" when it could still be too high and isn't much better than the current

It's an odd one, I know, but I figure this is better than what's up there. As I pointed out, the only 2 sales since the last suggestion are invalid for pricing, since one was for an undisclosed cash sum and one sale was a duped one.

Open to your input on it.

Well, my main issue with suggestions like these is the same issue I have with pricing based on offers alone. What has happened in the past has been a new suggestion every time someone lowers a b/o. And I have seen hats dropped consecutively within 1-2 weeks 2-3 times and really felt that bp.tf pricing off b/os was leading the market. Now, that sort of issue won't happen with old effect hats, so one might argue that we are simply getting a hat to its steady state faster. But I still don't like it.

We saw a similar trend with accepting suggestions off offers. And for that we would see a new suggestion every week every time there was a new offer. Leading it the other way.

As I mentioned, there are times when I think it is okay. Like on hats with no sales because the buyer-seller gap is large and conservatively dropping it might actually lead to sales, but that really isn't the case here

Moot point now that Vince has provided a lead to another sale. Closing to open with more accurate range.
