Yes, I understand your concern about using B/Os to lower down the price. However, both trades which are supposingly "quickselling" their hats, can we really count them out? The 9 buds trade hasn't been able to sell his for that price for 1 week+ while the 10 buds trade is fairly new, let's not talk about that. Moreover, this one sold for 10.6 buds in unusuals (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19181572). So I'm not sure if 9 buds should be omitted from the range now.

Edit: Also, the phosphorus metal pile of scrap has a 7 month old price, and I doubt that the current price is that high now.

About that trade which you claim to be a quicksell, there is no way that we can verify when exactly he got the 2 x 9 buds offer. If it was so easy to get 9 buds offer on the crones, his trade would've been closed in a few days or so. The fact that it is still unsold after more than 10 days, I am certainly not convinced that 9 buds is a quicksale.
