This isn't for his personal gain that's nice upvote.

The fact that keys are rising is why refined are going down. Metal Price is inversely proportional to Key Prices [in maths terms]

Ps, brace yourselves for a 2% depreciation of your bp value

Keys are not rising my friend, refined is dropping. In economics terms....

Normally keys go up, and then the refined go down. So i would say that refined is dependant on keys [maths terms]

not that it matters in pricing refined, but if keys were going up, how come they are the same price they have been forever, unless your paying more for them from the mann co store or the market place. Keys go up in metal price because it takes more metal to equal a key because refined is getting cheaper. Learn some mannconomy buddy. keys arent going up, metal is going down...

Key prices are going up in refined value. Which means that refined has to decrease in value to match the real $$ proportion of keys. Its the rise in key:refined ratio that is causing the depreciation in refined. If keys werent going down, then refined wouldnt be going down/

refined is going down because there is an over abundance of it, people are hoarding it, has nothing to do with key prices. If more people crafted with it then the price would go back up. supply and demand my friend.

Have you not realised that a key rise (in ref) occurs, and then the refined go down? Which shows that refined is dependant on keys. But this is just going in circles, so im just going to make this the last comment on this back and forth useless conversation

                        2% is that all?

                          (25/25.5)*100= 98 (% of orginal amount)

                          So a 2% depreciation :)

                        Looks good to me. Upvote!

brings a tear to my eye

                          my bp value fuck

                          upvote.

                              The Proofs seems quite serious.

                              Upvote for me

Downvoted. As great as the proof is, as big of a rep whore I am and as much as I love d0 seeing refined drop makes me cry. The suggestion will still of course probably get accepted anyways.

"As great as the proof is, as big of a rep whore I am and as much as I love d0 seeing refined drop makes me cry."

Your reasoning isn't the best, let's be honest. For starters, you stated that the proof is good, yet still downvoted. Logic =/= Opinion

I downvoted because I don't want refined to drop. After that I said the suggestion will still get accepted anyways, so in the end my vote doesn't matter. I accepted my opinion will lose since the beginning anyways.

Still, you're -repping yourself if this does go through. Once again, Logic =/= Opinion

Yes I know, thank you captain obvious.

is this guy serious? I mean obviously its a stupid decision but hes standing for what he belives in is his point I think

                                            Pretty much yeah

                                    wake up bro

                                        lol

I would upvote this. I generally base my prices for community market funds (would be easier if valve wasn't so greedy with taxes [King Gaben III, anyone?]) at around $.25. [Opinionization Alert!] IMO it works better being 4 ref = $1 instead of some odd amount. But it's probably be even further easier if the price was divisible by 9 because then say 1 ref = $0.18- believe me it'll happen- .11 ref will be $0.02, making community market pricing a bit easier. Again, opinions.

tl;dr $0.25 is more used (I guess it fits more), it'd make pricing on the Market easier. People are upset that they don't get to their milestone.

scm value of ref has absolutely nothing to do with the real $ value (except some super indirect method). SCM value of ref is determined by the selling price of a key on the steam market and then the ratio of ref to keys in trade. The value of ref here is determined solely by the value people are willing to pay in real money via paypal or some other method.

Eg: 5$ in vouchers is not the same as 5$ on hand. Same principle here.

                                            esto es ridículo.

Just asking to learn. Is this enough proof for a currency ?

With trades with hundreds of ref for sale and sold at $.25 then yes, it is enough.

Seems like ref seels slow as always and even 0.25 takes some time even with regular bumping on different trading sites. Seems like seller at 0.24 appear as often as sellers at 0.26 with 0.25 being the most commonly traded price.. Votes are very positive for a ref suggestion so I have no problem accepting this.
