People have suggested things with only one sale a lot recently, and seeing how this is one of one and I'm not selling this sexy beast, why not? :^)

Someone smarter than me correct me if I'm wrong please :). I'm pretty sure that the one sale rule is used for old unusual and once that won't be unboxed.

It is, but I've seen like 5 other suggestions get passed that have only one sale for still unboxable items, while it was also for a new price. Someone said the rule was pretty much gone now, not sure if that's true. I'm assuming it is.

This is the first one unboxed after being unboxable for 2 months and 2 weeks. It was unboxed about 4 days ago, but was untradeable until today. I think it isn't very regular in this sense :v

Generally, the 1 sale is enough rule only applies to rare god tiers, eg Burning Shaman. I don't think a bubbles operator really fits into that category.

Well, I'll see where this goes. The other ones I saw were relatively lower tier, save for the Shaman (duh)

The rule applies only to new-effect, unpriced unusuals. Any 1st/2nd gen effect seems to be uncommon on new unusuals, so I disagree.

They're probably already accepted by now. I vote on between 25 and 75 suggestions a day, I can't remember every single one.

I'm not new to this, I know that. You again, didn't read. I vote on so many daily that I can't remember what they are, save for the larger tier ones, such as the Burning Shaman that was recently passed. I check proof regularly, but I don't memorize what hat it is and go "Aw gee, I should save this for later." I've just seen multiple new suggestions over the span of the past week or two for unpriced things price em with one little link. They weren't high tier, they were just hats. That's as much as I can tell ya. I've priced high tier hats (omg Secret Coffin), I know what goes on here~

That applies to higher tier unusuals, your suggestion is for a new unusual with cancer tier effect :S

As far as I know you kinda need two sales for a new hat. And since the Operator is kinda new. You kinda need them.

My stance on these is to wait a month to see if it sells again unless it goes to a collector who is well known not to put hats back on the market (i.e. purple fetti trades to creamy, the green fetti fedora to garry, etc.) 90% of the time, people who are "keeping" a hat will re-sell it within a month.

Why 1 month? Well, if it hasn't sold in 1 month, there's a good chance it won't sell in 2 months. And at that point the sale starts getting too old to use, so making a suggestion based on the sale would serve as a marker for future suggestions.

Alrighty then. I have never resold a hat I've bought (save for the Bubbling Anger and Bubbling Belt I bought, as I traded em for the Operator because I liked it more after it came out), I even still have the Kit after all this time. I'm a Bubbles collector, so it ain't going anywhere for a long time. Just like all my others I've had.
