Solds:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19396949 Stormy Hoodie, 1.5 after overpay

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19415925 OC Dixie 2.3 after overpay(But unstable old price. Wont use that)

Conclusion:

Again only 1 sale found, so many of these unsold kinda long.. New price 1.5 as the dixie is outdated and new (=unstable)

For dropping a price, I don't think you need solds.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually not, but atleast 1 sold is needed to get a price that is not out of thin air.

Actually, you can drop a price just by some B/O's under the current price range. Solds can solidify the proof.

how am is upposed to price a hat with unsold b/o's if they are also not happening?

If you want to set a new price on a hat just with bo/s , they need to be under the current range. I'm not saying you lack proof. You have quite decent proof.
