I don't think you could raise the price with one buyer.

Why not ? If you had one would you sell it to one of the 1 ref buyers or you rather sell it to the 1,33 one. ;) Logic

That's true but I saw another suggestion got closed that was similar to this. That suggestion had only one buyer for the high end. I'm trying to find the suggestion right now.
