When I tried to suggest a price for a new unusual I was informed I needed 2 sales. Unless this has changed you'd want to list your sale as well I think.

Looking at backpack value of the unboxer, it only really sold for around 2 buds. It's an outlier most likely.

Wait, so if it bought for 2 buds, and sold for 11.5 in overpriced new effects that are asking for less than his proof says.

How do you know which one is an outlier? It'd normally be worth 3 buds in the tier table, someone just overpayed for it, there's no offers around there, the guy just overpayed, lord was lucky to get what he got rather than the 2-3 buds it's really worth.

I've had this dilemma a few times while putting together a couple of suggestions, and although it seems so painful and annoying, you just have to wait for another valid sale.

But honestly, there's no actual proof of the first sale, and the 11.5 sale was more recent, so 11.5 is the correct value here anyway.

What you must understand is the rarity of this hat and the history. This is 1 of 1, an old effect, and only two sales ever. And this probably won't be sold in a long time. When it comes to valuing things and adequate proof, it's really a case by case basis, and in this case, 11.5 seems as accurate as possible.

It had nothing to do with no one supporting you; it was us asking for you to show us the second confirmed sale everyone was fully aware existed to either further support your one sale or to see if a range may be needed for that hat, since flat prices usually only pass if there was no other known sales, and you withholding that information did not help your case when multiple people brought that second sale to your attention.

Since the other trade is about 8.9, it fits.

Two sales are discrepant and both went pretty fast. Not much we can do here but wait for a third sale to identify the outlier. In reality, my guess is that they are both outliers and the value of this lies somewhere in between.
