10 months old price
1) Sold for 50 pure keys ----> (50 / 19.5 ) = 2.56 ---> 2.5 buds
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19529244 ---- I've also checked the seller's backpack and believe me is REALLY full of keys
2) Sold for GE Pyro's Beanie + 6 keys two weeks ago = (2.8 * 0.9 + 6/19.5) = 2.8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18984492
3) Quicksold for 39 keys = 2 buds ( not used as a proof - quicksell )
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18283787
Other sellers on outpost :
1) Asking for 2.8 buds http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19459753
2) Asking for 3 buds http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19086066
Additional proofs provided by Vince :
http://puu.sh/7AAE5.png - Added with a Blizz Bonk + BMOC + 10 in sweets for PE waxy ---> 2.75 buds --->2.8
http://puu.sh/8vME6.png Ghosts Guad + ~1.2 in sweets ---->2.9 ---> 3 ( outdated ghosts gudalajara )
MINISUGGESTION FOR GHOSTS GUADALAJARA :
Sold for a GE prancer one month ago : http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18832468 ---> 2.1*0.9 = 1.9 buds (considering overpay)
RANGE SETTING :
If i take the average of these 4 trades i get : 2.5+2.8+2.9+3/4 = 2.775 ----> rounded to 2.8
At this point,i would take 2.5 as an outlier,so i think should take 2.8 and 3 as lower and higher bound prices.
Thanks again to Vince for the really useful additional proof and for your time/attention
2.5 is close to 2.8. Not sure how that can be justified as an outlier. Perhaps cause it sold within 2 days? Eh...
Even if i admit 2.5 as a lower price,it would end up with an average price of 2.775 if considered with the other sales i've provided before,it's like i'm considering that sale too imo ; i hope i've done well. Tell me if i've done some huge/ really bad mistakes,i'm here to learn too. Thanks again
Ranges aren't defined by the averages of sales. Each end is defined by sales. Low end = lowest sale, High end = highest sale. We don't calculate ranges based on average values.
I agree,i've applied this rule (yours) to my already accepted suggestions too, i've done this computation because the 2.5 sale was the most distant from the others 3 i've found on outpost and i wanted to see how much it would have been able to alterate/distort the price range.
Well, I got it + 8 keys for a hearts guad. My B/O on the hearts guad was 3. So that would be another sale at ~2.6
Ok....so should i make another suggestion? If yes, with a 2.5 - 2.8 price? Thanks again
I think 2.5-3 is about right. I'm happy to leave this up for another mod to evaluate, though, since the sale at 2.5 pure did go in 2 days.
agreeing with polar bear the lowend should be lower, considering there is polar's sale at 2.6 as well the sale at 2.5
ty,i'll resuggest then
