The one 'quickselling' for 2.5 buds sold within 10 days, I wouldn't call it a quicksell. This could be lower

The Carouser's price is outdated so it can't be used unless you create a suggestion/mini-suggestion for it.

Also, the Milkman sale would be 3 buds flat as the Muff's B/O was 3 buds

"No sale should be valued higher than a hat’s buyout in pure. If a person in the comments of a trade states a willingness to sell for "x" pure, the trade should not be valued above "x."

I didn't use the backpack.tf price to price the hat. I went onto outpost and saw that 4 people had B/O's of 3.3-3.4 and calculated the unusual overpay.

Once again, can't use B/Os for a mini-suggestion, you need sales to prove it, or at least one sale.

Show me the rules, please I insist. I don't want your opinion.

(1) We no longer allow suggestions based only on b/os. There must be at least 1 sale in every suggestion. Just like we don't like to use offers as the only proof to raise the value on an item, we don't like using b/os alone to drop the value as this has frequently caused bp.tf to lead the market with consecutive suggestions every 1-2 weeks dropping the hat (see Miami Wraith). We also have run into the problem of using these prices off b/os to price other hats.

Mini-suggestion is still a suggestion, and if we could do suggestions based of B/Os putting the hat at the exact same price as it's outdated original value we'd never have outdated hats at all. It's common sense, plus it's still raising the price of the Capotain considering it's original value is 3-3.3 http://backpack.tf/vote/id/524889c34dd7b8da3e8b456b As seen here, which once again, CANNOT raise prices based off B/Os because you need sales. Using original values would put it at 2.8~ after overpay of 3.15x.9, but the values are outdated.

Exceptions: There are rarely situations where we feel B/Os can be used as the only proof in a suggestion. We will accept such suggestions ONLY if there are literally no usable sales in the last 2 months. In these situations, the suggester must show proof of recent sales and why they are not usable (quicksell, sold for more unpriced hats, etc.). In these cases, there is frequently a large buyer-seller gap and dropping the value based on B/Os might actually result in a few sales that could then be used to refine the value.

How you should use B/Os: All of this does not mean that B/Os are not useful. Use B/Os to give a general sense of your range. If a hat remains unsold for 2 weeks with a B/O of 2 buds, a sale at 3 is probably an outlier. Use them to check whether your suggested range makes sense. Just don't use them as the only proof to set both your range.

Original value is still 3-3.3 and overpay is 2.8~ Still raising price of it via B/Os which is against rules even if it's a mini-suggestion.
