I'm the only owner of this according to backpack.tf and noticed there's no price. I bought it off the market, though the previous owner listed it here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/18722316 for 4.5 buds. I bought it for $160, which after removing the 15% from Valve's share, $24 flat, leaves it at $136. I don't intend on selling this, but if another one shows up in a private backpack, this would be something to go off of. Beyond anything else, I just want it to count in my backpack's estimated value. Thanks for your time!
So one sale, somehow a range, and how does 136$ wallet funds = 4.5 buds? Cheapest key is 2.36 currently and 136/2.36 = 57 keys or roughly 3~ buds.
I'm not sure where your calculations are coming from. 136 / ~2.4 = 55 keys
he should take 160$,he did infact pay that much,i don't see why he is removing valves share
ie 160 / 2.4 = 66 keys > 3.4~
It should reflect both the buyer and seller's trade point. The seller sold it for 136. He can't get back more than 55 keys in pure

What? How does this make sense? Did you not read Polar and my comments at all?
You need two sales to suggest a new price for a new hat/effect. Using the B/O is incorrect.
You can check past histories for previous owners.
You're pricing this like the Burning/Clouding Moon effect, I doubt this effect is the same tier.

and considering this is rarer than both of those effects,it can as well be higher. arcana knot is the highest priced knot,just for comparision sake

It is rarer in quantity because it was only released a year ago.
The Arcane War Pig is a good example, Sunbeams sold for 50. Case closed
i just posted the war pig suggestion,so you see that 2 sales aren't needed.

The hat is 1 of 1 and rare. It's also high tier.
Rules still require 2 sales, or a 3rd when the second is an outlier.
One of the rules polar made: If the hat is an old/rare hat with one sale in many months (>3 months), then it is acceptable to set a flat price and it will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis (depending on how comparable the sale is to previous offers)
In this case, the War Pig, not the Glove
