Sold it for 11 mixed

Cloud 9 headsplitter+2buds pure = (10*0.9)+2=9+2=11

Im not sure if steam market sales are valid in order to be used here.

if so i baught it there for 3buds and 6 keys, considering the amount of keys you need to sell there in order to get the money.

If i can use it tell me and i will make a new suggestion.

even tho it would be a biiig range (maybe it would already be considerd an outlier?)

Don't u need two valid sales to price a new unusual, stated in the rules here: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/

to determinate outliers / market sales are no valid proof at the moment

only applies for summer 2013 effects

The Scorching DCO didnt need one.

As for Robo and 1st gen effects on new hats, since not many people unbox crates lower then 25 or robo crates, these will usually be 1of1 for a long time and wont be sold for a long time neither (or never be sold anymore at all)

Show the effects of the hats, then you got my vote :3

      B/O of 8 on the headsplitter http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19643331

lol im gonna sell the splitter for 6. however i still have to use the bp.tf value as long as it doesnt show a ''price is outdated'' sign right?

Well summer effects fall really quickly so usually you should make a minisuggestion for them if there are b/o's lower than the suggested price

Id need actual sales, that i dont see tbh, not B/Os

Well the b/o is lower than the suggestive range showing that the price of the head splitter is outdated

Is that an official rule or an oppinion? my last suggestion was like a year ago so idk lol

Not an official rule, but it does look like the head splitter is quite overpriced at the moment

So our official stance on pricing based on one sale is as follows:

"Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:

                    - There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months

                    - The effect is not a summer 2013 effect. (robo effects can be used as they are often rarely traded and rarely unboxed)

                    - The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.

The one exception we make here is for hats >20 buds in value, for which a lot of our rules can be bent since god-tier unusuals are a bit different in the way they are traded on the market.

In this case, the first two criteria are easily met. But the third is a bit less clear. We have previously accepted suggestions where the hat went to a known collector (like a fetti sale to creamy or garry). In other situations, we ask that people wait 1 month to see if the buyer resells. 90% of the time, a hat will resell within 1 month, and it is always better to price it with two sales instead of one. Can you share how you know this won't be traded again any time soon?

The other issue here is the value on the headsplitter. On new effects, the bp.tf price is frequently inaccurate within a month, sometimes even 2 weeks. Perhaps it is just best to wait a bit to evaluate your sale at 6 and the b/o at 8. Perhaps, it isn't worth 10 any more.

Hm ok i couldnt care less anyway since i dont deal with that hat anymore :P
