This is my conclusion on this item.

I can't find many sales for this, the sales I am using consist of the ones I know sold it for. So any other proof/counter proof would be greatly appreciated. Also this may be able to be made with a cheap item, but everything needs a price.

Resuggestion #1: 1.2 is an outlier so the range is 16-17 keys

umm. really? for an item that takes a v. luger, a luger spec fab, a normal killstreak kit, and some robot parts to MAKE. Total cost of maybe 12 keys if you pay max price for all of those things. If this passes people will just make more of them to flip...

then they'll go down to 9 keys ;D

SOURCE!!!. There has been no update to the killstreak kits involved. Proved it.

hence the fact i said "supposedly" meaning i dont have any proof at all, looking through some of the past-recent trades some of the sellers have claimed that the glitch has been patched.

glitch was using a uncraft KS wep to make the kit produced the untradable kit. And applying this onto the luger created the item we are now suggesting.

1. Untradeable KS weapons are still possible (Simply put a KS kit on an achievement weapon)

2. Put the Weapon created with step 1 into a lugermorph spec fab to make the resulting kit untradeable

3. Apply to Vintage Lugermorph

NOWHERE does Valve mention patching this "glitch". Also, this works exactly the same way as crafting with untradeable items/metal and therefore I highly doubt this "feature" will get removed any time soon.

But then again I sold my U.V. Lugermorph for a Vintage Alien Swarm Parasite if I added a Smoking Professors Peculiarity :D

So.... you can make it undtradble v. lugermorth with an untradble spec kit, and than remove it and call your lugermorth special untradble, You all know that right?

Yeah, but it still costs some to make a spec kit for the luger. Not to mention the number of people who believe it's "glitched".

Lets take it WAY off and say it costs 2 keys to make a kit, 9 keys luger + 2 keys = 11 not 17

People still pay more

Either

A) A Mod is warning the comments

B) The comment has a score of -5 and is hidden for those with the proper settings.

If it's A, there's nothing you can do about it.

If it's B, http://backpack.tf/settings In the "General" tab under "Hide comments below score threshold" and select what you want.

Since these are artificially made, then I don't really see much point of "having" a set price on them.

Eventually the idea's going to spread until the glitch (if it is one, or just a game mechanic like with metal) with placing and removing an untradable kit would be fixed.

Like Slocumruls said earlier, there's gonna be too many of these items present ingame.

I do sincerely feel for the people who bought them for quite a large amount without knowing, still, that's what you get for not researching items.

I'll neutral and watch how this goes through.

This is rediculous. I went through all of the current outpost trades and not a single one has an offer even equal to normal V. Luger Value. A mod should close this suggestion before more people simply get sharked.

Actually, I believe that was the final nail in the coffin. However, the original report was for sharking, mis-representation of the luger. How do I know? "The user that you reported has been banned. Thank you for your report."

As far as this one goes, my gut tells me this is too high. However, I have no proof to back it, so I'm going to stay out of this one.

Sales are all over the place. Anywhere from 10-20+. Just can't be reliably priced, especially with such a narrow range. The range is really deceptive here.
