Clarifying the outlier

The 4.1 bud trade sold in a day while the 4 bud B/O trade can't even get any offers close to that therefore an outlier is revealed.

Yeah, 4.1 does look more like an outlier now 3.7's on paper. Looks good.

First trade was actually 62 keys, he miscounted the amount in his bp. (I should know, he bought it from me :P) It was still 3.5 though at the time and the rest of the proof is good, so an upboat from me! :D

Sales at 3.1, 3.5, 3.7, and 4. Seems equally spaced to me. If anything the 3.1 data point is the furthest away here. What's your rationale for calling 4 and outlier and not 3.1? Perhaps 3.5-3.7 would be a reasonable compromise?

The 4.1 is an outlier because the current sellers with a B/O of 4 have been unable to achieve offers of that standard after 2-3 weeks. The 4.1 was also sold in less than 2 days which may be considered a 'quicksale'.

The 3.1 trade took 1 week to sell, he had an offer of 3 buds (refer to notes) and sold for the Burning Bombing (3.1). Offers tend to be more concentrated near the 3 end and not 4 end.

Eh. I don't think it's an outlier. Getting maximum value on an unusual often takes a month. It really might take a month to get 4 from this hat. I wouldn't call it an outlier based on that. And more importantly, 4 isn't far from 3.7. It's really not discrepant. I would say 3-4 or 3.5-3.7 would be better here.
