heh, i remember the couple of weeks where people were buying them up for upwards of a refined, thinking they'd be valuable
People buying mirror, thinking that they'll become a misc someday and make huge profit (which might happen, so joke on me :P) or when people think the tux's will be the new bud, which might never happen cause of people hoarding them.

what do you mean people hoarding tuxs... they're not tradable....they're not giftable...
people made dozens of accounts and got tuxs on each of them with the plan that when they are tradeable, they'll collect them all on one account and sell them.
Considering buds dropped if you have tf2 in a mac back then, like the tux dropping in tf2 if you have Linux. When the tuxs were released many people considered the tuxs the new currency of tf2, since it's like buds and it's limited, when it becomes tradable, but it never did.
Rumors says that it will be tradable in the next major update of tf2. If it ever did it will just be an ordinary misc. Thanks to the people hoarding them.
