1st suggestion and a 9-month-old price update.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16919558 Sold for 5 pure.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17681717 Was offered 5 pure
how can the 2nd link be offered 5 pure if his b/o is 4.5?
Because the guy typed in an offer of 5 pure.
I've been offered more than my b/o in pure on some normal items before
The second link guy is asking for 4.5, and the offer of 5buds was from the same person that bought the first link
It was just supporting evidence I thought I'd include because there haven't been many sales recently :S
I don't think it really needs much of a change, my trade could be the upper range, but it doesn't constitute a set price. Range should be adjusted to a 4-5 bud range
Where would the 4 come from?
It's a magic trick!
It's been 8 months, there have been way more than just 1 sale. Disagree.
You can't value the second link above 4.5 because that's what his B/O was.
A range of 4.5-5 would probably be better, but I'm not sure about using a B/O as the low-end.
That's why I didn't include it in the range - because I always see people getting yelled at for using B/Os in their pricing.
They get yelled at for their B/O's as proof because that's the only proof they have. B/O's are good as supporting proof for a low-end or are good for lowering the price of an unusual (or any item for that matter)
But other people try to use them as a way to raise the price of an item, which doesn't work at all.
Trust me, man, B/Os can be used as low end. If anyone yells at you, refer them to the unu. suggestion cheat sheet :D
So should I close and resuggest at 4.5-5?
Mm, only really works if you have 2+ sales. 5 is probably safest.
The offer is from the same buyer so you've shown that only one person was willing to pay five pure. Meanwhile there's another on Outpost right now with a buy-out price of 4.5. You need to consider what Placebo paid ("Stormy Storm Human Cannonball+Stormy Storm Hard Counter ").
ah too bad the stormy storm cannonball is outdated :c
That's easy to fix: Upper bounds on the Hard Counter: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19934547 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17936014 It's no more than 2. Cannonball: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16129569 It's, at most, 2.3. I'll leave it to someone else to find exact sale values but those alone show that that sale was nowhere near 5.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17681717 - Sold for Stormy Hard Counter + Stormy Cannonball (5 buds) [Offer Value: 4.5 buds] {Duped}
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20023796 - Duped B/O of 4.5 buds.
I was going to downvote but seeing as the ones selling/sold for 4.5 are duped and it's much more reflective on the current market, I guess I upvote?
2nd link is duped.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19784836 gbh hallmark is the only other clean sale I could find, and that is unpriced
