You can price 1st gen hats with only one sale.....
"Any hat can be priced based on a single sale if ALL these criteria are met:
- There are no other recent sales in the last 3 months
- The effect is not a summer 2013 effect. (robo, 2013 halloween effects can be used as they are often rarely traded and rarely unboxed)
- The hat went to a collector or person who intends to keep the hat. A collector can be identified by looking at the person's trade history, item history of similar unusuals in the backpack OR if the owner has not resold the hat 1 month after the sale occurred.
3rd point.
I asked on the backpack.tf forums and 2 of the members said I can do this. So I'll have faith in them and I've done this many times before.
None prove that he can't price a first gen effect with a single sale
Sales for high tier hats (>20 buds) can be based on a single sale if there are no other sales in the last 3 months. Estimations can be made for unpriced / outdated parts of that trade as long as reasonable estimations are provided.

the hat was put back onto the market immediately after the trade, and Hellgasms doesnt seem to have any intention of hangning onto it
what you should do in this instance is close this suggestion and wait for hellgasms to sell it

sure frist gen, but hat isn't >20pure and on the market right now - so it's better to wait 1 month !

This is first gen, not robo nor new halloween. Check through my other suggestions i've done this before.

U will never learn this, do u? Like I said last time - do what ever u want - mods will finally decide - but remember at the moment it stands 2:0 for my side !

Since it seems as though the new owner is looking to flip this, it might be better to wait to see if it sells again before pricing it. He's already been offered much more than that in unusuals: http://puu.sh/92Abk.png

Also, the new owner is currently trying to sell the hat. As other people have pointed out, you should wait for him to sell first.

Look at the 3rd point the guy is reselling and as such this hat cannot be priced on 1 link

Perhaps I would have been willing to make an exception for this if the unboxer had put this on the market. But he didn't. It was purchased privately. Really hard to make any decisions about what the value is when the hat never got a chance to receive offers.
Yes, in the past we accepted similar suggestions based on 1 sale. But everyone has mentioned here that our rules have changed due to confusion. They are quite clear now about what is and is not acceptable to price based on 1 sale.
