Firstly bills never suddenly plummeted down from 8 keys to 6 keys, it was dropped during the course of a few months, and it dropped because the cost of keys rose up (From 1.2$ to around 1.6$ and now keys are around 1.8$-1.9$) obviously bills wouldnt still be "8 keys" it was simply balancing out it's price in irl money.

Same with the team captain, this hat used to be ~5 refs and hoped on to the key train and rode it for ages. The hat itself took ages to sell at 1 key and you either had to be lucky or very fast since practically everyone was going for 1 key and refused to sell for cheaper even though it took ages (I was flipping these a while back...) Eventually more and more people started selling it cheaper and it was dropped from the key currency. This was the same with the g.awper got lucky and jumped on to the key train when ~4 refs was 1 key and rode it for ages.
