does the value of buds count here in your math? sure i bought my gatsby for 3 buds BUT earbuds werent 17 keys as it is at this point. I dont say the hat might need an adjustment but this is way too big a jump. I can clearly see now how important it is to get every single little offer on any items in the game written down on outpost & screenshots from ingame . if i did that i would be able to proof the few offers ive got so far like example dp braniac + items adding up to 4.1~ but here it will just only be my words & nothing more cause no screenshots sadly.. atleast i can use my right to downvote which ill do cause of disagree of the range ;)

The 2nd Sold is 4 Month ago. I think its too old ...

It's actually kinda hard to tell when the hat sold, it was bumped a month ago, but, I'll add him and see when we sold it, and if he could supply a screenshot with proof

There are sellers for the brainiac at 3.5

Seems like there are actually a lot of sales at ~2.5. Perhaps a range of 2.5-3.3ish would be better, but this is probably reasonably close.
