Only 1 recent sale to be found (that isn't an outlier)
Sale #1:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20254987 Sold for a Terror-Watt War Pig
~5.7 buds
Sale #2:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/20368377 Probably sold for an Orbiting Planets Hat with no name
~Price is outdated, definite outlier though
Actually, Terror-Watt War Pig is more than 5.7 buds. ( I know I was the buyer)
Unusuals are taken for 90% of it's value when pricing another unusual.
Original value x 0.9 = Overpay value.
I'm confused about how you are calculating the value on the war pig. I'm seeing it listed at 6.8 which would be more than 5.7 no matter how you calculate overpay. I'm concerned about that anyways since it has a 2 month old price, which is ancient for a new effect

How does that disprove anything?
because he just gave you the proof that the war pig is a lot more than the whoopee cap, even if you only take 90% of it.
Most of them are unsold though.
even so, they are still a representation of what people want for the item. I'm sure you can find at least a few sold in the price range we are defending for the war pig.
In unusual trading, people tend to set their b/o's over what they tend to sell for.
That's why I said, "I'm sure you can find at least a few sold in the price range we are defending for the war pig."
