i sold these from from 1.66 to 3 ref. price is way too volatile atm (and nowhere near 0.33)

Items like these are to early to price - They cost 0.44 refined to craft.

Same with the Bread Box - Costs 3 Craft hats to craft, items from it are getting sold for 1 key.

If I am not mistaken, you need sellers and sold. I don't believe that buyers affect the price, because if that were the case, people would just buy expensive items at ridiculously low amounts, and get the price changed.

Actually that depends on wether you are proving the upper or lower border of a range (correct english?).

You forget that you can turn the same argument against sellers, because people could also sell cheap items at ridiculously high prices to make a price change ;)

Due to this, you need sellers to prove the lesser border & buyers to prove the upper border of your price range & that's actually what the suggesting person does.

Not only is this NORMAL WEAPON only 1 day old, you're posting buyers instead of sales. Just let the update hype calm a little, the price will be the same as any other normal weapon within the week.

ummmmm no. This is a weapon, like any other. It will be worth half a scrap by the end of the week. There's nothing special about it at all. Hate to break it to you, you might want to abort the suggestion to save rep.

Of course it's bound to lower, that's not a surprise to anybody. It happens to 99 percent of unique weapons. That's a whole week from today and if you were to try buying one for 0.05 right now, you would have trouble. This price suggestion doesn't take place a week from today, it takes place today.

Also, I care more if the suggestion gets passed than my rep. Rep is very easy to get and I'm not concerned about it at all

It won't fall down to half a scrap by the end of the week, that will last at least months if not years. just look at the last introduced unique weapons like Fortified Compound, the Loose Cannon from 2012 or even the Jumpers & the Frying Pan from 2010 that are all at 1-2 scrap.

The point is, that there IS something special about them, which is that there are not enough on the market to fullfill the need.

Saying that "it's just a normal weapon, not more worth than half a scrap" has never been true when used on bp.tf

this is weapon for fuck sakes people,its just has a hype it will be 0.05 scrap in a few days why do you even bother....

The sooner new weapons get a definite price, the sooner the hype dies down

There are already 7 pages on outpost with these, I think you need more than a quicksale for the low end and 3 sales for the high end.

I sold mine for 2 ref in matter of minute and I had two more buyers adding me after I sold it. This has nothing to do with reality, not now anyway

all of the blueprints roughly cost 0.44 ref, so I would vote that.

I'd argue that this price will be reached after a while, but is not there yet. It's probably too early to price these. I sold one yesterday for a Hornblower, and even though hype was young then, I still find these easy to sell for above this range.

If the 1 sale sold quickly, its a quicksale. I quicksale and a lot of quick buyers isnt enough for low end.

Even though this might be good proof, it's still way too early to price these.

Your proof suggests that 0.33 is too low. You are showing buyers at 0.33-0.66. You will need to show regular sellers at those values to demonstrate that it isn't a quick-buyer's trade point.
