Price is 7 months old.
4 on the market http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/210796878 (5 when the person I sold it to puts his on the market). 3 of them have been on sale for a few months. One recently just got unboxed.
Sold for an blizzardy storm anger (2.4)+orbiting fire sensei (1.8*.9=1.6) and I added 3 keys (.2 buds). This puts the hat at 3.8. Proof: http://imgur.com/C6ZQB15
I am not quite sure about valuing the anger at 2.4 but I’m going to go with it for now.
Counter proof is appreciated. I would love feedback!
What throws me off is some sellers have their B/O at 3.5, and none has bought it for that price. There were unusual offers of 3.5, but that is not the price you are suggesting. If anything, you should have a range, 3.8 being the highest. Lastly, you need more sales to prove your price.
price is 7 months old btw
and with how many there are on the market, you couldnt find more sales? :/
1 of them was put on the market over a month ago. 2 others were 3 or 4 months ago.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/16510827 - b/o of 3.5
EDIT: Also, you didn't apply overpay on the anger
If it's one thing that I've learned on this site is that only sales matter. If other people on outpost were selling cheaper and I sold for more than their buyout than that's a win for me (sorry if I sound like a complete douche). Besides, that was a pure buyout. Most people want more than their b/o in unusuals.
Well, you're suggestion a price of 3.8 PURE, not in unusuals
I don't think that it matters if the sale is with pure or unusuals. Everything is valued at bp.tf price unless its outdated.
Friendly advice incoming
I don't think you understand as much as you think you do, make sure to read through the cheat sheet: http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/6033-new-unusual-price-suggestion-guide-the-cheat-sheet/
When looking at buyouts, you look at the B/O in pure. That's because all of the prices on this website are what we think you could get for pure if you tried to sell something (based off the market of course). So we have the "multiply the middle price by 0.9" rule to account for unusual overpay. After using the rule you get a number that we think represents the amount in pure that hat is probably worth, unless of course it is outdated.
And to comment on something else you said earlier, no sales are not the only things that matter. They should be the majority of your proof, but buyouts/offers/buyers/sellers all can be used as side-proof to help make your suggestion stronger.
That's why I said I wasn't sure. I usually take the low end or the hat *.9 depending on what was worth more. If I did apply overpay the sale would come out to an exact 3.6. I might close and resuggest at that price but I'll see what more people have to say. Thank you for the constructive criticism.
