      nerfed to hell sadly. Takes 2 seconds after firing for the sticky to do full damage

        No more spamming m1+m2 then i guess ;-;

          Scouts and engineers cheering every where over the horizon taunting and laughing.

          Basically if you det straight away, on a perfect shot the best you'll do is 50 damage. If you only just hit it's more like 10-30. Crit stickies do ~141 or something so you can't just instakill everyone with them and you have to wait 2 seconds before you det for normal damage. It's a ridiculous nerf and needs to be patched.

            Let's be honest. Demoman was my favourite class (I don't even know if it still is after this nerf) but throwing stickies across the map and spamming with crits was not how Valve intended the stickybomb launcher to be used (not on first intention anyways) or for demoman to be played.


            The stickybomb launcher was designed for traps, and as painful as this change might be, perhaps it's how demo should be.

              Yes, but that should have been worked out much earlier than this. Reverting a 4+ year old game mechanic is ridiculous. I used to enjoy playing demo (I was shit though) but I just don't find it as fun anymore. Sticky seems almost useless apart from traps and pipes aren't always as effective on open maps.
