Reducing the price of the Collector's Force-A-Nature.

Since these items take longer to sell, there will not be a limit on when a listing was last bumped.

These are all of the listings I found on Outpost, so please consider that before you say that there is not enough proof for this suggestion.

Comments, criticism, proof, counter-proof... Everything is appreciated. Thank you so much!

You have 1 sale to support low end, and whats with 3.9 that should be 4.

looks fair enough :<?

Made a counter suggestion on this ^~^

Ranges like this make me cry inside.

If it's "unsold" for 3.9 keys, shouldn't that be an outlier? We need stable prices. I expect a change.

Collector's take some more than anything to sell, so 4-5 day unsolds don't really mean they won't get sold

I understand the range is very weird (made me shed one single tear too). But since there are so few Collectors for each item on the market, unless the price is obscenely high or low, there can't exactly be outliers. And in terms of how long the trades have been up, it is variable due to the cheaper prices; if there were more than 4 "legitimate" listings on the market then you can argue that they may take longer to sell.

        Upvote, then. :)

Proof's solid, and yes, there are few collector's of each type, so what you said made it more reasonable.

Well this is now the top suggestion on backpack.tf .... Thank you all so much for your support/criticism!

I have crafted and sold over 20 collector's items, from the most common to very rare ones. It's not that they sell cheap, its that they take a LONG time to sell. So some people price them low out of impatience... but they still don't sell any faster really. I've made several hundred dollars crafting and selling Collector's items, but I've learned that they can take several months to sell, even when they are literally the only one of that type on the market.

Would it be possible to use the steam market to prove suggestions like this on collector's items?

I don't typically use the Community Market to base my proof off of, but that market is completely separated from the actual "trading" market, and doesn't exactly follow the currency that we use (Ref, Keys, Buds...) That's just my opinion, but I would ask someone with more experience, or a mod =)

          Seems like a giant margin...

Well, considering two months ago it was 4 - 6 Keys, and the fact tha Collectors items are pretty scarce, odd ranges will be present =) I few like the mods are trying to torture me though... =P

What about the ones selling for a medley of 3 different keys? (worth 3.1-3.2 keys according to bp.tf)

Anyway, not sure how this counts because it does have a specialized killstreak, but the seller is looking for a specific mix of keys

I dont believe it counts because a) the weapon has a killstreak kit on it, and b) he has not got a set offer on it. But thank you for showing me this =)

Your very welcome! I see what you are saying, but it could be use to prove that they are not selling and help prove your low end because people are willing to sell even specialized killstreak collectors FaNs for 3 keys. And for the keys, after a bit of research, it looks like it is easy to get a stockpile key at 1.1 keys, in some cases even 1 for 1 with a normal key (time for an update?). Anyway, good luck with your suggestion.

After much deliberation, I have decided to upvote this suggestion and downvote the other one. My sense of aesthetic harmony lying ruined in a pool of blood and feces, I can only hope it was worth it.
