Trade #1-

First here is a trade where GE mancer + scorching mancer + burning Guadalajara sold for a duped Secret TC(55.4*0.9) = 50 http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/19752826

Next here is the new price that is most likely going to be the new price for the GE mancer that is being voted in http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53a87f994dd7b847448b4669

So if we take (GE mancer (15 buds) + burning Guadalajara (6.5)) - Secret TC (50 buds) = 28.5 * 0.9 = 25.65

(cannon 21 + phantom 7.7 + flamenco 9.8 + 1.375 pure) - merryweather 6.15 = 33.725 * 0.9 = 30.3525

33.725 * 0.90 (for overpay in items) = 30.3525 buds or round to 30 buds pure for the new price of the Scorching Pyromancer

the Mean of all 3 trades = 25.65+30.3525+19= 25 buds as new scorching mancer price

This price is in correlation with the prices of the scorching mancers being sold on outpost.

The two trades are outliers but they are what the mancer has been sold for so they have to be included in the pricing. These are 3 different trades that all point to one price.

I agree but bp.tf doesn't differentiate prices between duped and clean hats. But I guess I kinda actually do believe it would go for high price. I've seen duped TCs go for normal price because it is a high tier effect that is rarely found on the TC

That does not mean it can be used as evidence without doing a mini price suggestion for the duped tc. To get an accurate suggestion find what duped secret captains have sold for and then do the calculation.

That does not mean that you can take it at the value of the clean one. All prices on hats on this site are for clean hats only. And that sale shouldn't be used to price the mancer anyways. Mancer was a small part of a large trade. Cannot be accurately priced with so many pieces.

VF is outdated i would assume the value i s closer to 15, didnt check the others but I think it would be best to make the mancer a range instead of calling the 20 an outlier especially since the value of the team captain is unreliable pricing along with the ge mancer which is robably unstable due to the amount of hype atm.

Even without that trade the average is still 25 buds.
