I don't need any when everyone knows what the real price should be, considering the fact that if keys are worth 8 ref then metal is useless and new tf2 players are left poor in the tf2 community

Look: considering the metal price is 0.24$, the key is 1,99$ or 2,19# on steam in game shop. 0.24$ x 8 ref makes 1.92, You add some reclaimed metals, which makes 1.99$. IMO that's how it works.

You're one of the people of them many that want it to return to normal as it used to be, but it can't be turned back when people are still succesfully selling it for the current price. Any sort of oppinions in making a suggestion is ignored, you need proof to support your range.

I'm piss poor but still, if the market states that "this is the price we've agreed on" then we can't help it. Find buyers and sellers who are willing to do it for 3 ref, THEN people will start.

Mate, this happens in real life too. There's a thing called "inflation" , "supply and demand".

Blame the insanely large amount of players emerging that starts to scrap metals. The more these metal exist, the lower their value goes.

There is no demand for keys increasing in price, they are simply matching the key price in metal with the real price and it's just stupid, we all know it is. There will all ways be keys considering the fact that they are digital pieces of code.

As much as I loved for this price to be accurate, you need proof of sales for thy range.

And don't just say "it was in the past", because this is what the price is NOW.

I like it at around 3 ref because if it's any lower metal is useless, if it's any higher new players spend years getting keys.

You like it at around 3 ref. Therefore everyone must buy and sell for 3 ref. That's not how economy works. If I wanted to buy a Ferrari for $150, it's not gonna happen, even if I say that the price was once lower.

I suggest that the price drop shouldn't be THIS big. It took a heft to reduce it by a scrap, this one's not goin' to happen.

Again, this site reflects what everyone is selling the items at of their OWN FREE WILL. Making a forced, inaccurate change here does nothing. None of the key sellers are going to think, "Aw shucks, Lugia successfully got his key price suggestion accepted! Now I HAVE to sell my keys for cheap!" Instead they will laugh, and continue to sell for maximum profit.

For new traders who think that keys are expensive at 8.55 ref and constantly want to drop the price so that you can 'afford' it:

1. Buy your keys from the Mann Co Store, their price for keys never change and remains at 2.49 USD.

2. If you are not willing to spend money to buy the keys, then don't complain about keys being expensive at 8.55 ref when you don't even work to get it.

There are ppl who spend money on this game and actually put in the effort to get keys via trading. Don't suggest to drop the price just because you can't afford it, that is just plain selfish.

To everyone else who whines about key price: if it affects you that much, don't play the game, as simple as that. You won't lose anything by doing so.
