Well there will always be trades selling or buying for above and below backpack.tf's suggested or "median" prices. If majority of trades happen at 2.66 - 3.66 and rarely at 4, then 4 would not be the median or average price. if there are many trades at 4 as well, then 4 would not need to be removed from range, but I only saw two solds for 4 ref in this suggestion. (Although there could be cherry-picking of evidence)
