Keys are 8.55 in metal, Keys are currently going for $2.45-2.50 on the community market. If Ref was .24/.25 that would mean keys in metal would be just at 10 Ref. Bring Ref up to $0.29-.30 is more inline with the current value of keys at 8.55
Community market is a link away http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/440/Mann%20Co.%20Supply%20Crate%20Key and basic math shows that $2.50÷$0.25 = 10 (Ref), how is that not proof? We are dealing with first grade math here. As for key prices on paypal, that's a terrible pricing guide. Only a fraction of the community even buy keys that way and on top of that you have to worry about scammers and chargbacks.
If you base pricing solely off of outpost you are ignoring other and far more reliable markets, main one being community market. Sort of a few cases, community market is a far more reliable pricing tool then outpost. Specially now with the bid and offers for some items, such as trading cards, as well as the charts of what actually traded at what price along with the amount that traded at that price. That gives a more realistic price then random posts on outpost that can range from a few ref to multiple keys.
S'not the way TF2 trade economy works, buddy.
Keys on paypal go for about $1.85 USD
You need actual proof.

no proof of solds downvote instantly
"owns 5" hahah nice try ( :DDD)
Price Mannipulation, Obviously! (TF2 Themed) Downboat!
That's right, doing basic math is now equated to price manipulation.
Steam community is not counted as solid proof, can be used as supportive proof.
Also, I guess you never heard of 15% tax on Steam Market?
Over that, you need proof. Look at the previous suggestions and compare it to yours.
It's far more proof then outpost, they show you how many traded at a given price as well as the current offers. Far more trade through community market then anywhere else at any given time. That's exactly what solid proof is. And yes you have to include the 15% as that still goes to the cost on the buyers end.
What's sad is everyone is whining about lack of proof, yet no one has disproven the points Iv made. Refined at $0.25 and Keys at 8.55 would equate to key prices of just about $2.02. Short of the VERY few out of the whole community that are paying RW$, majority are buying through other means, community market being the biggest with thousands of keys bought and sold everyday, and that price isn't anywhere near there.
SCM fluctuates a lot and can't be used as proof, only as supportive proof.
Yes it does fluctuate like many items and as it stands now, prices of keys are high and don't equate the value in terms of metal. It's still proof of the going rate of keys.
I won't try to make you understand anymore since it seems like you are sticking to your words. I have been here a while, I suggested a lot, I know how things work. If you won't take my words, oh well.
You have not shown any proofs whatsoever, if things worked like the way you are showing...Everyone would be suggesting. I gave you links to the guide and rules, feel free to read'em ^_^
P.S : If you don't close this, a mod will come in and close this due to insufficient amount of proof.
Then Ill let a mod close it. Iv provide a link to SCM and shown how basic math doesn't add up. You don't have to accept what Iv provided, that's your personal choice, just don't expect me to accept what you have to say. If you don't like it how Im presenting this then leave. No one is forcing you to stay and participate.

No one bases it off of just OP, people use bp.tf, Bazaar.tf, SCM, Paypal, Trade.tf and a bunch more. "It was only a link away"
And yet majority of the posts include outpost posts only.
Because there are so many. Also because on bp.tf you can't post refined metal for sale. Why don't' you close this already.
Just because you don't like it, is not a reason to close it.
There is a reason. Two actually. 1) I don't like it Because 2) There is no proof whatsoever. Stop being so ignorant and close this suggestion.
ok noted !!!
