Boy its next to impossible to find sales for these but here we go, Key collector is at it again!

I bought it along with another festive key (which was 2 keys)

Keys were 8 ref back then and I paid 2 keys + 8 ref for it, and 16 ref for the other key

CONCLUSION:

These things are rare on the market, and are defenietly not just 1 key anymore (unless that person is unaware that they have a scorched one)

There are 2 sellers in classifieds, one for 10 keys and one for 16. its impossible to get your hands on them unless you pay a lot. so 1 key is defenietly not the correct price anymore

PUH-LEEZ if you're gonna tell me im wrong provide counter proof

they pretty much turned them into normal keys. And they can only be seen from bp.tf, making most of the people who have it unaware that they have it.

Fair price considering rarity

theyre becoming of less and less existence as the uncraft ones can only be seen on bp.tf so people can use them by accident and the viewable ones are almost all in collectors backpacks, i believe this needs an upvote :)

Yep, I tried to price expriced keys before but failed twice, so I used this one since i had enough proof for it

But anyways, that low interest is propably because they are hard to find I assume (please note: its an assumption)

Well....I'm only saying you paid 3 keys doesn't mean others will, people have been arguing those old key prices should remain unchanged due to lack of interest. 2012 Nauchty key got left behind. I wouldn't actually upvote this, either if I had had one or not

Look Most people think this item is worth sense it can only be through backpack.tf backpacks and can only be sold on backpack.tf cause ucant scroll through thosands of pages of keys to find one Its special its fine the price should be 2-3 keys but we should debate on the festive keys that around 1 bud if theres low demand but there rare its should be 2-3 keys and untounched

I had one in my pack and forgot to store it with my others at the bottom of my pack and accidentally traded it away as a regular key. That's the thing with these. The vast majority of times, people don't even notice and they just get traded as a normal key.

If you wanted a ban you could've asked for one.

Upvote, the proof is right, and seeing the Festive Keys got valued 1 keys I doubt this won't pass.

And yes, I do own 1, but I own each expired key and started collecting these long before the got value, just epeen.

First of all, the second proof with the 3 keys isn't even valid since no one bought it yet...he's looking for 10 keys but will it sell that's important. The first evidence you put up doesn't even indicate that you traded for a scorched key.....overall faulty evidence.

You're wrong. Why:

You bought it for 3 keys, but the link to the image does not prove that you bought a scorched key. That alone is not enough to invalidate your link, but the fact that you don't own a scorched key, and didn't own a scorched key the day after the trade, on may 31st, (see http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198072888206?time=1401519600), tells me that there is no way that you bought yourself a scorched key.

So... You're basing the entire market off of what one guy offered on one trade? I don't think this is accurate. People manage to sell buds for 26 keys, but does that make them worth 26 keys, or does that make them outliers? Maybe if that trade gets more offers, but otherwise, no.

No disrespect, but all the expired keys look the same on steam/your tf2 bp. The only site it shows its true from is right here, because they retain their original item schema.

It has no relevance here but I sold a festive key in march for 1 bud.

Key collectors are out there, and all of the non-normal (expired) keys have values higher than 1 key to these folks.

My recommendation to the OP

Don't worry if this doesn't pass, these keys in general are a pain in the ass since you cant search for them on outpost. When I sold my festive key the only reason someone found it was I was clever enough to put a festivizer next to it. Either way good try man.

My recommendation to the community

SCAN YOUR BACKPACKS, lol. Know where your keys are at all times, especially if you are fortunate to own any of these retired keys.

I remember buying one of these during the event when keys were 2.55-2.66 for 2.33 and I still own it. Put it up for sale once but I got no offers so I closed the trade. This is more than enough proof if we take into consideration how hard it is to find the keys. Don't know if it will pass though.

Well, the reason this has been up for such a long time is that the mods don't really know what policy we should take regarding these suggestions.

Make no mistake about it, the arguments AGAINST this are pretty compelling:

(1) The majority of these get traded for as a regular key without the traders even knowing.

(2) These don't "exist" anywhere except here.

But perhaps this second reason is why this should be accepted. Brad has felt it best to differentiate these keys on this website, so perhaps we should price them as such - different from regular keys. Collectors seem willing to hand out 3 keys regularly. And as hard as it is to get proof for an item like this, the proof here isn't bad. Going to accept. The event keys can be handled as such unless Brad decides to remove them from the site.
