Yeah, I own this hat. Now for the proof. Keep in mind that this is 1 of 1 on the market (probably forever as the other one is with the guy who has a burning hazmat and loves them both). 2 sales.
Sale #1:

Sold for a DBD Headsplitter. Priced at 15 buds, that gives us 0.9x15 = 13.5 buds
Sale #2:
I got mine for a A.F Swagmans and he added 1.2~ keys. [http://gyazo.com/c93ab8b95a7496f74c167deaa40e3b41]
A.F. Swagmans has pending suggestion of ~10.4 buds. No need overpay as he offered on mine. [Swagmans suggestion: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53b2a9c84dd7b8311e8b4578]
These are the most recent sales as what I've heard is that the other one was gifted to the owner and has never seen the market again. (Can't confirm this as I'm not premium ;_;)
Constructive criticism welcome.
You didnt put any links for the second sale except the swagman suggestion xD
added, forgot. thanks <3
his b/o when traded for the swag was 10, and the b/o when traded for the headsplitter was 12, so the price cant exceed that.
Where does it state that it can't be higher, if I may ask? I'm just using the (recent) prices that were on the site, even if the B/Os were lesser than the sale.
Part 2. The essence of overpay
Overpay in its purest form
No sale should be valued higher than a hat’s buyout in pure. If a person in the comments of a trade states a willingness to sell for "x" pure, the trade should not be valued above "x."

Wow, don't know how I missed that. Will re-suggest later with valid range. Thanks.
